Gena Lee Nolin's Message to Moms: 'Don't Sweat the Small Stuff'

Courtesy Life & Style for use on CBB

She may be best known for her former role on Baywatch, but in a new blog for Graco, Gena Lee Nolin reveals her skills since becoming a mother reach far beyond the acting industry.

“I hold the record of watching The Wiggles 25 consecutive times…Yes!”

Her true accomplishments were no easy feat, however. While she loves the “responsibility of being a mom,” Gena has had to learn to roll with the unexpected punches that she faces in raising her kids Spencer, 12, Hudson Lee, 3 ½, and Stella Monroe, 11 months.

“Like they say, don’t sweat the small stuff,” she advises fellow moms. “I think we all tend to worry about things that don’t truly matter in the grand scheme of things.”

Noting that her greatest joy to date when it comes to her children is “teaching them and watching them grow,” Gena believes with each passing day her life becomes a bit sweeter. “Being a mom has been amazing and as I go I’m more and more aware of what’s really important,” she reflects. “It’s scary and fun all in one!”

With Spencer entering into his teenage years, their mother-son bond continues to flourish. When asked to name her most recent wondrous moment with one of her children, Gena was quick to recall a chat with her oldest boy, calling the “positive adult conversation” a truly “rewarding” memory.

Moments such as these leave Gena cherishing her children more than ever.

“Be patient and enjoy because it goes by really fast…Now I sound like my mom!”

Hudson and Stella are Gena’s children with her husband Cale Hulse, while Spencer is her son from her marriage to Greg Fahlman.

FEM by t-bags: A Chic Maternity Line for Stylish Moms-to-Be

FEM by t-bags Maternity

Just because you’re pregnant doesn’t mean you have to compromise your fashion sense. FEM by t-bags — short for Fabulous Expectant Mother — has lots of chic options that will keep you stylin’ the whole nine months.

Launched in Spring 2007, this stylish maternity collection (tops and dresses) was created by t-bags designers Shadi Askari and Su-Lyn Tay who are known for mixing vintage prints with contemporary silhouettes for a fresh, modern take on womenswear.

One of our faves is the Butterfly dress ($168) which drapes well over a growing bump. And the Flutter Sleeve dress (originally $172, now $99) is a great choice for a daytime wedding or cocktail party. Want a sophisticated look for work? Try the Side Ruched dress ($184). The v-neck and faux wrap shape are super flattering, plus the green floral pattern is beautiful.

The line is sold at most maternity boutiques, as well as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom. For more information on stores in your area, click here.

Constance Zimmer: Colette Has My Quirks Down Pat

Michael Kovac/FilmMagic

Monkey see, monkey do! While attending the Stella McCartney for GapKids launch party, Constance Zimmer revealed that her 22-month-old daughter Colette Zoe has become quite the little talkative parrot, quick to repeat whatever she manages to hear.

“I would say her talking has escalated ten fold,” she tells Celebrity Baby Blog.

Noting that it is “kind of nice to see yourself repeated in your child,” the actress admits Colette has become an expert on imitating her mama — and has even managed to perfect her manner of speaking!

“Anything I say she repeats and then she comes up with her own ideas and concepts. A lot of times I say, ‘Ummm’ and now when I ask her something, I notice that she’ll stop and think and she’ll say, ‘Ummm,’” Constance shares.

“And she doesn’t know what that means, but she knows that I do it a lot.”

Colette is Constance’s first child with Russ Lamoureux.

Jerry Seinfeld Says Sascha Inherited His Sense of Humor

Gary Gershoff/Getty

Forget the smile, forget the eye color. When it comes to passing traits on to his children, Jerry Seinfeld has given much more than the eye can see: the funnyman’s kids have inherited his sense of humor!

“Watching my kids, especially my daughter [Sascha, 9], it does seem to be in the DNA somewhere,” he tells GQ UK, “because I see her falling asleep with these big joke books.”

While he doesn’t doubt Sascha’s interest in comedy, Jerry admits her dedication still catches him off guard.

“She’s [9]-years-old — she can read anything, why’s she reading jokes? I think it’s somewhere in the biology.”

The ability to mandate his own schedule as a stand-up comedian is something Jerry can’t appreciate enough. “You can take time off when you want to,” he says, adding that his career, in that aspect, mirrors that of a plumber. “You can work when you want to. I get to roll around with them all the time — it’s fantastic.”

In addition to Sascha, Jerry and wife Jessica Seinfeld are also parents to Julian Kal, 6 ½, and Shepherd Kellen, 4.

Kourtney Kardashian cradles her bump while posing at the Kardashian Charity Knock Out, held Tuesday at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles, Calif.

“Today I vowed that I was going to wear flats, and then last second, I threw on some heels,” the reality star, 30, explained. “I can’t wait to sit down already. It’s hard carrying extra weight. I’m over the red carpet being pregnant.”

Kourtney is due with a baby boy at Christmas.
