A rocker in the making?

The American Idol alum and Daughtry frontman and wife Deanna are also parents to daughter Hannah, 13.

I LOVE CHRIS!! He should have won that season of idol! Griffin is cute and Chris seems like such a family man.
Now if I remember correctly, Hannah and Griffin were Deanna’s kids from a previous relationship and Chris adopted them? That’s what I heard…If it’s true that’s really honorable of him!

If Erika is right, it makes. Griffin looks nothing like Daughtry, so I thought maybe he looks more like his mother, whom I haven’t see any photos yet.

Erika- Hannah was Deanna’s child who Chris calls his own and Griffin was adopted by Deanna and himself together. Hope that helps! and Griffin is 9 turning 10 in january he is not 11. He looks so big but i think it is because chris is a short man.

Are you sure Griffin wasn’t Deanna’s too? I recall her saying they were both hers from a previous relationship…I would believe that more anyways because he looks SOOO much like Deanna…at least in my opinion.
Either way, I love the way this family came about–Chris seems like such a genuine guy and I adore the fact that he hasn’t let fame change him!

Griffin is Deanna’s biological son. She got pregnant with him and then her ex took off and wouldn’t claim Griffin as his own so when she met Chris and they got married, Chris adopted her kids.

Just thought I would clear all this up. My son is 11. He was born in 98. I don’t know how all this false info gets out there but Hannah & Griffin are both my children. Chris adopted Griffin after his father died. He did not run off he was a father to his son.

Tammy…that’s not the truth….Griffin’s biological father passed away and then Chris adopted him. The daughter’s father is still in the picture and Chris did not adopt her but has been her stepfather for many years and he’s always referred to her as his daughter. That is the exact real truth straight from his wife Deanna.

doesn’t really matter weather he is biological father or not he is a real dad. Thanks to Chris and Deanna for sharing the story of there family with us it shows that there are real men out there who know what being a dad is about and who can love a child regardless of the science behind the child birth. Deanna you must be 1 hell of a woman to be able to have such an incredable family.
