I came across Stephanie and Christian Nielson’s story shortly after their plane crash last year and I have to tell you that I have never seen such a beautiful and inspiring family. I mean, the simple fact that they survived the crash to begin with is a miracle… and then there’s the struggle they’ve all faced together of overcoming the obstacles of healing and pain and of course coming to terms with the huge differences in their lives from then to now. I admire Stephanie for sharing her story with the world. I know it’s been difficult at times for her to accept her new appearence (she’s admitted this on her blog and only on the year anniversary for the first time revealed photos of herself after the accident), but I hope she truly realizes that she is a beautiful person and that will NEVER change.
