Angie Harmon Marvels At Her 'Michelin Tire' Baby

Baby girl is on the move! Mother-of-three Angie Harmon is preparing to move past the stationary stage with her daughter Emery Hope, 11 months this week, as she reveals that her youngest is quickly approaching her latest milestone: walking.

“She is crawling now and she literally pulls herself up on everything,” the actress tells Us Weekly.

Emery’s tentative steps are quite the sight to see! Calling the learning process “hilarious,” Angie admits Emery bears resemblance to a well-known cartoon figure.

“She just loves to stand there, but it’s a bit like watching the Michelin tire man because she’s just sort of wobbling and there is fat all over the place.”

Angie — who is slated to star in TNT’s Rizzoli — and her husband Jason Sehorn are also parents to daughters Finley Faith, 6, and Avery Grace, 4.

She is always talking about her daughters’ bodies and their weight…how skinny they are, their “6-packs”, or their “fat” roles. Seriously, I hope she has a little more discretion around them. They will soon be picking up on her focus (obsession?) with their weight.

My daughter was like that, so cute!

@Rashida: Why do you say she is “crawling already”? She is 11 months old!! All four of my mom’s kids were 10 months when we started walking.

Good point, christina. My mom was, and still is, very focused on weight/appearances. She is very critical of herself and others, even strangers. She never held back on the comments around me, and sure enough, I have struggled with issues regarding my appearance my whole life. I now have a daughter, and I am determined to not impose those issues onto her, however I am worried that my mother will impact her thoughts as well.
