Camila Alves let down her hair and draped herself in a black one-shouldered dress for the Prada book launch, held Friday at Prada Beverly Hills Epicenter in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The model and Matthew McConaughey expect their second child — a sibling for 16-month-old Levi — in late December/early January.

I’m glad to finally see her dressed up and looking cute and not in the usual “beach garb” we always see her photographed in. She really is beautiful and glowing Though I know all that matters is a healthy baby, I hope to see a baby girl for the McConaughey/Alves’ in the near future!

Cora, Julia….although I think a little girl Levi would be sweet I’m pretty sure whatever they have will be both mom and dads. Girl for mom and boy for dad or vise versa is such a ridiculous mindset.

I wonder if she will do a VBAC. She was in labor for like 2 days with no drugs trying to get Levi out and ended upo having a c-section. I know they really wanted to have him naturally. I wonder if they will try to go natural again or just go straight to c-section since they had that last time. We will find out soon, I suppose. I think it’s another boy too, for what it’s worth.

I think it’s a girl! Becky- Her pregnancies might have been to back to back to attempt a VBAC. I know the closer together the deliveries, the more likely the uterus is to tear.

Actually kathy, Brazillian’s are considered black or a person of color. If you look at people in Brazil, they come in all shades, some are darker than people here in america of African descent.

Not everyone in the world classifies themselves so rigidly as “black” or “white.” In Brazil, it is much more complicated than that. Most likely, Camila is a member of the African diaspora. Whether she classifies herself as “black” or simply “Brazilian” is another matter. I classify her as GORGEOUS!!

wow she still looks so good. I’m due at the same time and feel like an elephant compared to her.. I wonder if she’s trying for a VBAC too since they wanted all-natural the first time. Hope she’ll post info about that here or on Matthew’s page. Levis’ just 2 mo. younger than my son so I know what that’ll be like!
