Handmedowns.com has teamed up with celeb parents Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves to raise money for charity!

The star couple donated their son Levi’s gorgeous and gently used Baby Jogger stroller to benefit McConaughey’s own j.k. livin foundation — which helps teenage kids lead active lives and make healthy choices so they can become great men and women.

Handmedowns.com is a revolutionary new classifieds site for parents where you can buy and sell gently used baby and kid gear including strollers, toys, clothes and more. Other celebrity auctions have featured items from Nicole Richie, Gwen Stefani and Melissa Joan Hart and have helped raise thousands of dollars for other children’s charities.

Is this still legal in all states? I tried to simply donate some baby items at Goodwill today and they do not take anything except kids clothes and strollers. No plastic riding toys, dishes, toys, cribs, bedding, etc.
I know it is not recommended to use a hand me down crib or carseat.

I have noticed that Camila and Matthew have at least four strollers for Levi-Orbit Infant System, Bugaboo Bee, Baby Jogger and UPPA Baby G-Lite Stroller. If it’s gonna be for charity why not to give one of it to rise money for children?

Eva- They are. In the post it says the charity it’s going to help is one that raises money to help teenagers, and teenagers are still techincally kids.

Anyway, I appreciate your comment, though. That explains why they aren’t saving the stroller for baby number 2. They have three other strollers they can use for him/her! And I’ll bet anything the jogger will be replaced with a double-stroller version of the jogger!
