Stepping out on Wednesday in Los Angeles, Dennis Quaid spends some quality solo time with daughter Zoe Grace.
The pair went out for breakfast and shopped a bit before heading back home.
It’ll be a big weekend for Zoe — she and her twin brother Thomas Boone turn two on Sunday!
The twins are Dennis’ children with wife Kimberly Buffington Quaid; he is also dad to son Jack Henry, 17, with ex-wife Meg Ryan.
After their horrific hospital scare, I’m glad to see these little ones are healthy!
Before I had my twins, there were 2 infants that died at the hospital closest to me in Indianapolis from the same issue as Dennis’ twins. I opted for a different hospital b/c I didn’t want to risk the same mistake happening to mine!

Lady – the only reason he called a ride was because a cop was outside of the restaurant and told him to or he would pull him over. That doesn’t sound too responsible to me. His little girl, however, is gorgeous.

KORI- you’re right! i saw the video. He was going to drive and the cop told him get out of the car. He was wobbling why he walked. Hopefully he learned from it.

Zoe is adorable and you can see that Dennis is being a very attentive Dad. It is so nice that she and her brother Boone are growing up healthy after their scare.

Michelle: They were initially hospitalized at 12-days-old for a staph infections and while there for treatment were both given overdoses of 1,000 times the normal dose for newborns of heparin, an anticoagulant used to keep IV’s clear. Since the blood was so thinned they began bleeding out.

According to Wikipedia (which is not always the most reliable source), “On November 18, 2007, hospital staff mistakenly gave Quaid’s twelve-day-old twins a dosage of heparin 1,000 times the common dosage for infants”….very scary!
