Alicia Minshew Welcomes Daughter Willow Lenora

All My Children star Alicia Minshew‘s baby girl has arrived!

Willow Lenora Herschenfeld was born Wednesday, November 4th at 6:42 a.m., weighing in at 5 lbs., 2 oz. Willow’s middle name honors Alicia’s mother, Lenore.

This is the first child for the Pregnancy covergirl, 35, and husband Richie Herschenfeld. The couple announced the good news, as well as the sex of the baby, in July.

Oh I am so excited for her and her husband and the new little precious one! I have always loved watching her on “All My Children” and I wish her all the best on raising her bundle of joy. Being a first time mother is very exciting for each one of us as everything is so new and there are challenges that you have to face, but it is the most rewarding job in the world and everyday to each week and month I noticed with my 2 girls as babies there was a change of everything! I loved it and still do, even as they are teenagers now! Congratulations, and enjoy!

Alecia- Exactly! I weighed only a few more ounces than Willow when I was born…and I was on time. I was born almost two weeks before my due date, but techincally, two weeks either side of the due date is considered the normal range or babies to arrive.

Alicia Minshew is my favorite daytime actress. She is very humble and unaffected by her success. If she doesn’t return to AMC, I will really miss her. While I enjoy watching the entire cast, she is my favorite, and I watch it mainly to see her.

I am thrilled for her and her husband and wish them all the best. My baby was the same size at birth, and now 19 years later, he’s 192 lb!
