They were engaged and I remember her on the cover of a wedding magazine talking about it, and then it never happened. Elisabeth was already engaged twice before and it didn’t work out, you don’t see her with her fiance anymore, and she no longer wears her ring like she always used to do. Regardless of your “bottomline” I think they aren’t together anymore as well.

A few years ago, I’m sure people noticed when my parents suddenly stopped wearing their wedding rings. However, they were (and still are!) very much together and in love.

To make a long story short, my dad lost his ring while swimming in a river, so my mom threw hers in there as well so they (the rings) could be together in the river. :)

Bottomline: I hate when people assume that lack of a wedding ring means a couple is no longer together!
