You have to be kidding me. Leave Zahara’s hair alone!!!! Remember this IS a child!!!! When should the public get up and arms and criticize about children or parents? I think they can have a “say” (I’m going to use that word lightly) when the child in question’s life is in jeopardy. For example, riding in a car shot gun or riding a bike without a Helmet. In some cities that is a law. Running across the street at age 2 alone, or having a 2 year old sit in a grocery cart without being belted in and reaching for food or trying to climb out! But having a child wear missed matched clothes or a hair cut or lack of one or not getting their hair relaxed is not and should not be disused by someone who thinks they are on a morality check! Sometimes as parents we need to choose our battles and you know what I kind of doubt that “Z” says mommy please use relaxer in my hair. And if she does THAT is between her and her mother. NOT US! Don’t we use enough “shit” in our hair, cleaning products and house as it is?

The article regarding Zahara and her hair really bothers me. I am white and I have always thought that black women with more natural hair are ten times more beautiful than the black women with strait hair or some weird tricked out hair style. Seriously, I know I cannot relate, I don’t have “problem” hair but there is nothing wrong with Zahara’s hair. I have always thought she looked 100 times better than many other ethnic children with weird hairstyles or 30 ponytails. I know most women mess with their hair, straitening iron, color, curling irons, etc.. but Zahara is a little girl and she will find her own hair style when she is older. BACK OFF! It’s so rude and petty!

I’ve always loved Zee’s hair. Why ruin the hair of one so young with all sorts of chemicals when she seems happy as is?
