Y Water? It's Nourishing — And a Fun Keepsake!

Y Water

Encouraging children to drink water can sometimes be a tough task. How do you get your child to hydrate without forcing them to take a few sips? Y Water is the perfect solution. Not only is it a colorful, nourishing, vitamin-packed water, but it comes in a crazily-shaped bottle that can be turned into a toy after use. Genius!

The different waters include formulas to boost your little one’s muscle growth, bone strength, immune system and mental capacity. Organic and low-calorie (they’re around 40-45 calories per 9-ounce serving), they come in yummy flavors like white grape and strawberry and are best served chilled.

But the most exciting part of Y Water is the bottle itself! Shaped like a Y, it connects to other Y Water bottles (with the use of a free Y Knot) to form an endless array of shapes. So the faster your child drinks, the sooner they can play with their bottle!

Y Water retails for $39.80 per case of 24 bottles and is available online or Amazon.com.

Rachel Campos-Duffy Expecting Sixth Child

Joking that she never co-hosts The View without a pregnancy announcement in hand, former Real World: San Francisco star Rachel Campos-Duffy stayed true to form during a Monday appearance on the ABC chat fest.

“I am having a sixth child,” she beamed. “I am three months pregnant.”

When asked by co-host Barbara Walters whether she ever wonders how different life would be had The View hired her following her 1999 audition for the show, Rachel admitted that she does — but was quick to clarify that she wouldn’t change a thing.

“I think it’s much harder to have six kids in an apartment in New York City,” she noted. “I live in Wisconsin, in a rural town with 8,000 people; It’s a nice house because it’s affordable.” Rachel added,

“I think it’s obviously easier to have a big family [there], which is what I’ve always wanted. Am I happy? Yes. Would it have been different? Absolutely. But I really believe everything happens for a reason.”

Including, of course, her soon-to-be family of eight with husband Sean Duffy — which Rachel says could continue to grow! “I don’t plan on having 19, but I never planned even one of my children,” she explains. “Each one has been a blessing so I guess I’m open to whatever happens.”

As for baby-on-the-way, Rachel says that her three daughters and two sons are already making their gender preference known.

“The kids want a boy, because they want to be the Brady Bunch.”

Rachel, turning 38 later this month, and Sean, a Republican candidate for Congress in 2010, are parents to Evita Pilar, 9 ½, Xavier Jack, 7 ½, Lucia-Belen, 5, John-Paul, 3, and Paloma Pilar, 16 ½ months .

I don’t know about this, Mom!

Archibald ‘Archie’ William Emerson Arnett, who celebrates his first birthday later this month, isn’t quite sure what to think of the paparazzi while out grocery shopping at Bristol Farms with Amy Poehler on Sunday in West Hollywood, Calif.

Archie’s dad, actor and comedian Will Arnett, sat this trip out but was with his family last time we spotted them, back in April.

Catch Amy on her show Parks and Recreation, airing Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. on NBC.

Archie wears Splendid Littles‘ Rugby Stripe Raglan and Pant Set ($61).

Nia Long's Message to Massai: Embrace Your Afro!

Courtesy Nia Long

A field trip to a hair salon with her Brownie troop when she was younger left a lasting impression on Nia Long, who vividly recalls the stylist’s confusion upon seeing the only African-American among the group of girls.

“[She] was just scared to death,” Nia explains to Essence. “She didn’t know what to do; I had a big Afro. It was horrific.”

Fortunately, Nia — who can be seen in Chris Rock‘s new film Good Hair, a documentary that explores the complexities surrounding black women and their hair  — notes that her childhood experience has made her that much more determined to embrace her roots for the sake of her son, Massai Zhivago. “He will say things to me like, ‘Mommy, why do you have a weave?’ or ‘What’s that white stuff you put on your hair?’”

Nia’s hair styling routines don’t go unnoticed by Massai; The 8 ½-year-old even showed interest in using his mama’s products on himself, much to the actress’ horror!

“Once for Halloween he wanted spiky hair and he said, ‘Why can’t you just put that white stuff on my hair to make it spiky?’” she shares. “I gasped and was like, ‘What am I doing to my child?!’”

In an effort to teach her son be proud of his heritage — Afro included! — Nia jokes she often cites none other than President Barack Obama as Massai’s role model.

“But thank God for Obama because I’m like, ‘He has an Afro so you need to wear yours proud.’”

Gwen Stefani and Zuma's LAX Landing

 alt= National Photo Group

We wonder what he thought of that flight?

Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale, 13 months, makes a face as he lands at LAX after a plane ride from Russia with mom Gwen Stefani on Saturday.

After this past week’s trip for a private No Doubt show, as well as the group’s recent journey to Singapore to play there, Gwen says she’s enjoyed soaking up solo time with her youngest son.

“It works out well to have just Zuma with me because now it is one-on-one for him, which is really special,” she shares.

“He has really blossomed in the last few days. It has been perfect. I knew I couldn’t be without him.”
