Alyson Hannigan: Satyana 'Makes My Heart So Full'

Gaz Shirley/Pacific Coast News

Her birth certificate may read Satyana, but during a humorous visit to The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Alyson Hannigan joked that for all intents and purposes, baby girl’s name is actually Ellen DeGeneres!

After telling the host in February that she and husband Alexis Denisof were considering the name, Alyson laughed — after being confronted by Ellen, who greeted the actress with a cool “Hi liar” — that she kept true to her word. “We call her Ellen DeGeneres and [so do] all the friends and family,” she explains.

“It’s just for legal reasons that we were like, ‘Oh, we shouldn’t technically name her this,’ but that’s what everybody calls her.”

Convincing Ellen that she would share her daughter’s moniker was no sweat in comparison to keeping the sex of the baby under wraps! During Alyson’s last appearance on the show, Ellen unsuccessfully attempted to squeeze the top secret information out of the expectant mama by having her choose between pink and blue onesies. “You were like, ‘Ooo, which one do you want?’ I of course wanted the pink one, but I couldn’t tell you that!” says Alyson.

“I have never concentrated harder in my life than that last interview. The whole nine months of pregnancy with the pregnancy brain, it was all boiled down into that one interview to not let it slip. You were hard…I am still tired from that interview!”

Clearly elated with motherhood, Alyson feels she has found her niche. “She’s always so happy and just smiling and she makes my heart so full,” she says of Satyana. “I feel like every cell in my body woke up to love her.” Calling parenthood “the best thing in the world,” the How I Met Your Mother star is smitten with her daughter. “She’s the best baby ever, like seriously,” she raves.

And while she may be basking in the joys of motherhood, Alyson — who was an only child and “hated it” — admits she is not quite ready for a second baby. “I’ve always thought I want at least two, but now that I have her…I get why you just don’t want to share anything, you just have the one,” she muses.

That said, Alexis seems to have other plans in mind!

“A week after she was born, [he] was like, ‘So hey, can we have another one?’ I’m like, ‘Excuse me! I can’t even sit down right now, can you just wait a minute?!’ Bad timing on his part, too soon.”

Jodie Sweetin Admits Driving Drunk with Zoie

Landov

In an explosive new memoir, actress Jodie Sweetin opens up about her past drug abuse and how those addictions put not only her own life in jeopardy, but also the life of her 18-month-old-old daughter Zoie Laurelmae.

The 27-year-old former Full House star — who was adopted as a 9-month-old — points out in unSweetined that her birth mother was also an addict. “I would hear stories about my mom leaving me to go off and party,” she writes. “And for years I was like, ‘F–k her. How could somebody do that to their kid’?”

“When I started seeing my own addiction getting in the way of being a mom, I finally understood: If you’re not in the right place to get sober, you’re not ready to be a mom.”

Jodie goes on to reveal that her “big rock bottom” took the form of driving drunk. “I had two glasses of wine and drove with [Zoie] in the car,” she explains. “I not only put myself in danger, but also my daughter, who I loved more than anything. I felt terrible.”

In December 2008, Jodie says she “got sober for good,” but her relapse has cost her dearly. “I got a call that there was an emergency custody investigation because of my drinking,” she notes before adding,

“From that day forward, I threw myself into going to AA and avoided people who do blow off their coffee tables. We’re working on a custody agreement right now. But life is good. I’m happier than I can remember.”

Zoie is Jodie’s daughter with estranged husband Cody Herpin. unSweetined hits bookstores on November 3rd.

Celeb Fave Bella Tunno Launches Disposable, Reusable Gear

Bella Tunno

Baby and kids brand Bella Tunno — celebs like Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Garner and Nicole Richie are fans of their “necessary accessories” — recently debuted more great gear for families on the go.

This includes their super handy disposable collection (bibs, place mats and multi-purpose pads) which comes in really adorable pink or blue patterns. But these products don’t just look good, they’re chock full of cool features.

The bibs sport a self-adhesive fastener, a soft top-layer, a leak-proof back layer and a front catch pocket to prevent mess. The place mats can be attached to the bibs with self-adhesive strips for extra protection. Plus, they’re perfect for airplane fold-down trays so you can keep things clean at 30,000 feet! And the use-anywhere multi-purpose pads are designed to absorb up to one cup of liquid!  Prices range from $6 to $8 for a 10-pack.

But most parents will probably appreciate the super stylish Parent Pod ($49, above) even more. It’s a lightweight, multi-compartment diaper bag that’s sleek and small (12 1/2-in. x 10-in). It also features eight pockets, a plastic toiletry case, two elasticized bottle pockets, a wipes case, its own changing pad and a removable shoulder/stroller strap. The best part? You can use it as a toiletry bag for yourself once you’ve moved past the diaper stage!

Plus, this beautiful gear supports a wonderful cause. A portion of all sales go to the Matt Tunno Make A Difference Memorial Fund, a charity founded by creator Michelle Tunno Buelow in honor of her late brother. The organization benefits teens and young adults battling drug addiction.

Minnie Driver on More Kids: 'Hell Yeah!'

Fame

If Minnie Driver gets her way, son Henry Story, 13 months, won’t be an only child for long. “Hell yeah,” the 39-year-old actress tells OK! “I want more. I gotta work this year, and then I really want to have more kids.”

Her enthusiasm hasn’t been dampened by the “hardcore” first year of life with baby. “Making these really important choices on extraordinarily little amounts of sleep is the most challenging part,” Minnie explains.

“Protecting your newborn baby, being able to feed them, being able to feed yourself, being able to keep the clothes clean, being able to keep the place clean … it’s really challenging when you’re sleeping for maybe two-hour increments and then waking up and breastfeeding. Well, I was.”

Adding that “the first year is not for the faint of heart, but it’s amazing,” Minnie says that motherhood has taught her to be “incredibly present” because “these babies change on an hour-to-hour basis.” Case in point? Henry’s own growing list of milestones to date  — a list which now includes walking, talking, and snuggling with dog Bubba! Calling her son “a little piece of heaven,” Minnie shares,

Mama was his first word, Dada, then ‘tar’ — which is guitar, and Bubba, which is the dog. And now he blows kisses at the ladies in the supermarket. He’s a big flirt. Big blue eyes, big white blond head of hair. He’s very handsome.”

Minnie’s new film Motherhood is in theaters now.
