Shannon Miller Welcomes Son John Rocco

Jim Sulley/Newscast/Landov

It’s a boy — perhaps future member of Team U.S.A.? — for Shannon Miller! The former Olympic gymnast and husband John Falconetti welcomed a son, John Rocco Falconetti, at 6:46 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28th.

“Home with our new baby! 7 lbs., 11 oz of cuteness!,” Shannon Tweeted Friday afternoon.

“There is nothing that compares to seeing your child for the first time…hearing him cry and holding him in our arms,” she told Inside Gymnastics. “We feel so blessed and are excited to begin this new adventure!”

Shannon, 32, who is the most decorated gymnast in U.S. history, announced the pregnancy in May. Her due date was November 5th.
