Elvis Costello Strolls With Sons

Singer/songwriter Elvis Costello was spotted out strolling with his 2 ½-year-old fraternal twin sons Dexter Henry Lorcan and Frank Harlan James last Friday in London.

With musicians for parents, Diana Krall says the boys have their own thoughts on mom and dad’s tunes!

“They have strong opinions on what songs they like, that’s for sure. If they don’t like something, they tell you to stop. They’re a tough audience sometimes.”

He has to be a cool dad but I have to point out that he is my mom’s age!! I am 30 (not the youngest mom by far) so him being my mom who is a grandma’s age is shocking!

Oh come on. He’s 55. Nothing shocking about that. Plenty of men have young kids at that age. Diana’s 45, so she’s not exactly a young first-time mom either. Good for them. Older parents rock. I speak from experience.

The twins are seriously cute – not sure which is which, but how adorable is the facial expression on the twin on the left!! I don’t want to fuel the older dads debate, but I reckon those kids are lucky to have a cool, brilliant and exceptionally talented dad like Elvis, irrespective of his age.

I saw Diana play in London this week. She talked about the twins between songs, and said the family travels with several tubes of wall paint to touch up hotel walls after the boys “redecorate” them.
