UGG Australia Goes Where the Wild Things Are

Ugg

On the heels of last weekend’s successful release of Where the Wild Things Are (it came in #1 and raked in $32.7 million), UGG Australia and Warner Brothers have launched a stylishly cool Wild Things collaboration.

The limited edition collection ranges from $60 to $150 and features the ever-so-popular Infant Erin (sizes small, medium and large) and the Kid’s Classic (toddler sizes 7 – 13 and children’s sizes 1 – 6) with super cute graphics and designs — Peeping Eyes and Max’s Crown — inspired by the movie.

Starting today, you can pre-order the boots at the company’s New York Upper Westside retail location or online.

Consider your money well spent! Fifty percent of the proceeds will be donated to UGG’s partner charity St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Since it’s sheepskin that is used on these boots, I shall find other ways to donate money, and will then consider it well spent!

Yeah, hi do they make these in adult sizes because I want them!!

- Shelby on

Shelby, if you have smaller feet (around 5-7 womens) you could easily fit into a larger child’s size.

if this movie was actually made to be appropriate for the young aged children that the book is meant to be for then we might have actually gotten these. I hear smaller children are getting pretty spooked with the characters plus this shoot have been an animated movie. would have made it better for the general public along with the small aged children. Its just like the marley and me situation. My 4 year old LOVES the marley and me series(which is meant for kids), but the movie with jennifer aniston was not meant for the younger crowd. i dont get it. anyways i thing i will stick with his regular ugg boots.

@adc76 Marley & Me was actually an adult book first, before it was made into kids books.

I whole heartedly disagree that this movie should have been made into a cartoon. It is amazing. The cinematography was fantastic and a cartoon would have ruined everything about it. I also went with a 2 year old and a 7 year old and neither got frightened. They both loved it. It does vary from the story… but the book is something like 10 sentences long.

I agree with you Niki. Everyone is up in arms but it’s simple; just use your judgement. Furthermore, I don’t believe they marketed this as a chldren’s movie but people just assumed it was because the book was. As far as I’m concerned the book has a similar, dark, depressing overtone. This movie is absolutely fantastic and I expected no less from Spike; the cinematography alone is breathtaking!

Wait they make uggs for boys?? LOL, I thought they were just made in girls sizes and the people who put their sons in them just bought the girls ones. I had no idea lol…
