SNL's Bill Hader Welcomes Daughter Hannah Kathryn

Saturday nights (and every other night of the week!) will now be filled with much more than hilarious skits for Saturday Night Live star Bill Hader: the funnyman and his wife Maggie Carey have welcomed their first child!

Daughter Hannah Kathryn Hader was born on Tuesday, October 6th, a rep for Bill tells PEOPLE.

The couple — who tied the knot in 2006 — confirmed the pregnancy in August, with Bill happily sharing his feelings on becoming a first-time father. “I’m really excited,” he said at the time. “I think it’s going to be awesome.”

I love the name, Hannah’s my sister’s name and Kathryn’s really pretty. I have the same letter initials thing and I used to dislike it, but I like it now. Hannah Hader sounds good.

I think its a very pretty name, but I am not a fan of names with similar sounding first/last names…Hannah Hader, unless she is going to go by her full name all the time, then it works.
