Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart Hit the Shops

Ramey

Actress Rebecca Gayheart kept her bump covered up — but still showed us a smile — while out shopping in Beverly Hills, Calif. with husband Eric Dane on Monday.

The Grey’s Anatomy actor, 36, and Rebecca, 38, expect their baby in 2010.

I’m sure this sounds awful, but I just have the worst yucky feeling when I see them now b/c of the sex scandal tape that came out. It appeared that they both did drugs and it makes me worried if they’ve been addicted still, especially if she’s pregnant. I truly hope they have gotten rehab and are clean, sober, and well-adjusted in their marriage.

urbanadventurertales, you are not the only one who is thinking this- I too hope that they are no longer doing drugs and have calmed down now that a baby is on the way.

- Louise on

She had fertility treatments and I don’t think that Dr.’s would treat her if she was a drug addict. Ofcourse I could be wrong. And the nude the tape was made like 2 years ago.

I’m happy for them. And I bet the baby will be gorgeous.

they look so happy congrats to them on impending first time parenthood she looks so radiant in that picture it’s not even funny

- Courtney on

congrats to Rebecca and Eric, I’m really happy for them, they’ve been waiting for a long time to get pregnant

- annefan on

Becoming pregnant and having a baby is often transforming for couples. I think they are going to be great!

ps. um, how HOT is Eric Dane??!! W.O.W.

I find it very difficult to feel happy for her knowing what her selfish irresponsible actions caused death of a 9 year old a few years back.

- martina on

Look Ava! She’s wearing your favorite jeans! lol

- JessicaC on

Well, Martina, I guess you feel the same way about Matthew Broderick who killed two people in Ireland and got off scott free which was a miscarriage of justice to the 10th degree. I guess you don’t feel happy for him.

Rebecca looks incredibly thrilled and Eric, well the term good-lookin’ doesn’t do him justice.

I don’t see how a private video makes them yucky. The death of that boy was an accident. Nicole Richie took drugs and drove on the wrong side of the freeway, she could have killed lots of people but everyone loves her, I don’t get it.

Congrats on the baby to them!

- Anna on

Well, I don’t really know the circumstances about Matthew Broderick, but I do think there are 2 kinds of accidents. First are REAL accidents, you trip and fall, victim of circumstance, wrong place at the wrong time. Then we have the kinds of “accidents” that are caused by someone being just plain careless and someone IS at fault. Rebecca’s accident was the latter, she broke the law(passed cars and went straight in a turning lane), was careless rushing and yapping away on her cell), and “accidentally” killed a child. If people are going to talk about that boy in every post about Rebecca it’s going to be a loooong pregnancy. As far as them being “icky” well, nude tape or no nude tape, I think people who use drugs and make poor decisions are “icky” nonetheless, Nicole Richie included.

Anna- you know, I recall most people feeling the same way about Nicole when she was pregnant with Harlow. It wasn’t until her birth and the subsequent dramatic change in Nicole that people started liking her.

I truly hope that Rebecca has changed and is clean from drugs.

While Eric Dane has a nice body, something about him kind of creeps me out, though.

Laura Bush accidentally killed a one-time classmate in high school. A driving accident in west Texas. She wasn’t arrested. Wasn’t charged. Sometimes you act in a was that is less than criminal, and it leads to someone’s death. Take it up with the D.A.’s office if you wanted Rebecca charged (or Broderick, or Bush, or Kennedy). Build more prisons if you want these types of incidents to result in someone doing time. But don’t get on your moral high horse and act as though killing that boy hasn’t affected Rebecca. We really have no idea.

- Erin on

There is a difference between accidents and what Ms. Gayheart did. People don’t see too familiar with the circumstances. Oh well, she’s a celebrity – she can do no wrong.

- martina on

JessicaC, You are to funny. When I saw the pic that was the first thing I thought of..haha maybe it was the same day. If we are lucky maybe Kelley will be back on insulting us again….LMAO

- Ava on

martina- None of us are saying that Rebecca can do no wrong. In fact, I admit that what she did was wrong. She made some very poor choices that led to a child getting killed. However, I have to agree with Erin. We have no idea if and how that accident (even though she made some very poor choices, it was still techincally an accident, as I’m sure she didn’t plan to kill that boy!) has affected Rebecca.

For all we know, she beats herself up about it (mentally, that is) every day! Or maybe she realizes that she obviously can’t change the past (and thus it’s pointless to “beat herself up” about it all the time), but still feels horrible and is haunted by the accident.

I can’t speak for everyone here, obviously, but, for me, it isn’t about Rebecca not being able to do anything wrong. Rather, I simply don’t think she needs to be figuartively stoned for what she did. As I said above, yes, she made some extremely poor choices, and I even agree that she shouldn’t gotten off scott free. She should have at least had to do some prison time!

However, that doesn’t meant that she’s a bad person, or that she deserves to be judged on everything else in her life (such as whether she’ll be a good mother) by that accident.

Who cares if they made a sex tape? They are married and if they want to film themselves knocking booty good for them!!!!
I can guarantee you that their intention was never to have it released to be scrutinized by the public.

As for what happened to the nine year old child. It was sad that it happened and my heart goes out to the family but, cant you just say congrats and move on. Are we going to be reminded about this every time.

If that was the case then I think I will stay off the boards till she gives birth. People are irresponsible everyday and do far worse than what she did. It’s not an excuse but at what point do we stop pointing finger and work towards preventing it from happening again. The time it took me to write this message I’m sure five people just got killed by irresponsible drivers. See what I’m saying!!!! And not all of them go to jail.

Congrats to them both!!!

- Dee on

To Rebecca defenders – I wonder if you would feel as forgiving if it your children were victims of her “accident”. It’s so easy to dismiss these things when it’s somebody else’s kid. Jorge Cruz was coming home from school. He wasn’t crossing in the right place. EVERY car stopped to let him go. Rebecca didn’t give a damn. Who cares why other people stopped, right? I am so important, that I am going to pass them @ 40 mph, in a spot right next to a school. Forgive me if I find your compassion difficult to swallow. And LA DA office should be ashamed for letting her get away with murder. Sure didn’t do much good for the workers’ morale there.

- martina on

They are such a cute couple.

- Bancie1031 on

martina- Like I said, Rebecca feels absolutetly horrible about that accident for all we know, and punishes herself for it every day. Maybe she even wishes she could somehow go back in time and make different choices.
