Kingston Rossdale's Slidin' Smiles

Kingston James McGregor Rossdale, 3, enjoyed a day out with dad on Sunday in Studio City, Calif.  He and Gavin Rossdale played at the park before heading to a restaurant for a burger lunch.

It’s just the two of them at home this week — birthday girl Gwen Stefani and Zuma are currently in Russia, where No Doubt is playing a private show.

Aw, he looks like he’s having so much fun! I always get weird about parks and those bouncy things, I always think they’re crawling with germs. Neither of my kids has EVER even had the sniffles, so maybe Im on to something lol.

Kingston looks so much like his daddy! I hope Gwen and the rest of ND are having a great time in Russia Little Zuma is making quite the rounds this past year with mommy and the ND tour!!

You’re probably right lol! I’m eighteen and still jump at the chance to go on those bouncy slides, and I’m always crawling with colds.
Saying that though, I’d rather have fun and suffer with a cold.

OK, everyone realizes how the immune system works, right?

And, on a philosophical level, by removing ‘unpleasant’ from your realm of experience, you diminish the sensation of ‘pleasant.’

Our species has been through millions of years of evolution and much of that involves sickness, pain, etc. That we still feel discomfort infers that it has evolutionary value, that is, that it’s competitive advantage over not feeling any.

I just have serious trouble understanding people who will ignore so many years of scientific truth for something they read in a baby book… isn’t the idea to learn as much as you can and make your own decisions?
