It's Official: Christina Milian is Pregnant!

Splash News Online

Amid much speculation, Christina Milian now confirms that she is going to have a baby.

“My husband and I are expecting,” she told PEOPLE Friday night. “We’re about four and a half months along, about 19 weeks.”

With a noticeable bump under her flowing dress, Christina, 28, said she knows the sex of the child but wants to keep it secret.

“We’re really excited,” she said.

With her husband, singer/songwriter and producer The Dream, absent at MGM Grand’s Tabù lounge, Christina sipped water and danced on her VIP table with a group of girlfriends.

The confirmation of the pregnancy comes less than a month after she was married in Vegas. The wedding, though, wasn’t nearly as spontaneous as some fans suspected.

“Honestly, it was kind of planned,” she said. “We were engaged for many months.”

And soon to be parents — the baby is due in late February/early March.

- Stephany on

CONGRATULATIONS!!! It’s a busy time for the Dream and ex-wife Nivea!! She’s pregnant and now he too is having a baby. Their 3 children will have lots of siblings to play with!!! :)

- I♥CBB on

Congrats!!! I heard that she might be expecting, but it wasn’t official, but I’m so glad they are having a baby! She’s such an amazing singer

- Brooke on

Did that say she was dancing ON a table? Four months pregnant? Does that mean what I think it means? Is she an idiot?

- meghan on

Congrats to them!

- Bb on

congrats to them they’ll have a beautiful baby and Christina looks even more beautiful pregnant than she normally is

- Courtney on

She looks so young, so pretty! Wishing them a healthy and happy pregnancy :)

- Chloe on

Meghan-Yes she was dancing on a table. SO WHAT!!! Just because she’s pregnant doesn’t mean she’s made of glass. I’m sure she wasn’t in danger of falling off. Geez! Sometimes the people on this board are so judgemental!

- I♥CBB on

Megan,

I went snowboarding while I was pregnant, in my first trimester and early into my second, with not only my doctor’s permission, but his encouragement.

So yeah, the dancing on a table, not a big deal.

No need to call people idiots.

- Jen on

was she on American Idol or something?

- Sarah on

I’m not going to call her an idiot for dancing on a table, but I will call her smug for “knowing” the sex of the baby but deciding to keep it a secret from the rest of us! What’s up with that and what’s the big deal? I can understand the couples who decide not to find out the sex ahead of time in order to be surprised, but I don’t see the point in saying yeah we know, but we not going to announce it until the birth — what difference does it *really* make? It just seems silly to me…

- Chicki on

Why is it apparently being smug to know the sex of your baby and want to keep it a secret?

- J on

Sarah,

She was not on idol, but has a sucessful music and movie career.

- Emma on

They don’t want to announce it to the world all the info about their pregnancy, that’s fine. And I am thinking BOY!

- Mia on

Chicki I think when so much of their lives are public it makes perfect sense for celebs to want to keep something like the gender of their child a secret for just them to know!

- MZ on

She says they’ve been engaged for months, but they’ve ONLY known each other for months! The started dating in February or March of this year and now she’s 4 months pregnant and married to him. Wow, they move fast…too fast!

- hahahhaa on

relationships don’t move at the same pace for every couple actually she’s closer to 5 months than 4 as she was 19 weeks when she confirmed she was indeed expecting which makes her 20 weeks this weekend and five months next week but first borns usually arive late so that’s why they gave late feburary early march as her due date as the babe would actually be due the week of valentines day

I should know about first borns being late cause I myself am a first born and was supposed to be born presidents day Feburary 22nd but was born March 5th instead

- Courtney on

Why no mention of The Dreams other 3 children…!? Best wishes to them…funny how all of the babies will be related…the dreams/niveas/lauren londons/lil wayne…WHEW!!

- Lady on

Chicki, she’s not being smug, she’s not obligated to share this information with the public, it’s not our business.

Courtney, my first born was born at 39 weeks exactly and I was sure of dates. And I’m sure she’s due when she says she’s due, I doubt they are changing dates to account for her *possibly* going past 40 weeks.

- Jen on

Cute couple. I wish them all the best.

- Ronda on

I wasn’t trying to say they actually did give the wrong time frame I was saying it’s possible it could be wrong as it isn’t an exact science figuring out a due date but congrats to them anyway

- Courtney on

I don’t think she’s being ” smug” at all.

She, like any other woman, will share whatever she wants of her pregnancy. Whatever she choses not to share isn’t any of our business.

I wish them all the best :)

- Patricia on

Lady- I was just thinking the same thing! Normally, when CBB does pregnancy announcement posts for woman/couples that already have children, they say something like “baby on the way will join the couple’s other two children…” or, in a case like this, “baby on the way will join (insert name of celeb here)’s two children from a previous marriage/relationship…..” and then they list the older children’s names and ages.

I don’t know why they didn’t do that here. That said, does anyone happen to know the names, genders, and ages of The Dream’s other three kids? I’m curious!

- CelebBabyLover on

He has a daughter Navy Talia Nash and then two twin boys whose names have never been said, with Nivea!

- Lady on

I♥CBB, I thought the baby Nivea is expecting by Lil Wayne? That’s what everyone has been saying. Lauren London just had his baby and Nivea is due any day now. They’ve always had an off/onagain relationship. I know she was married to The Dream and they have 3 kids, but this baby is supposedly Lil Waynes. And yes, dancing on a darn table any time, let alone while pregnant is foolish!

- mermaids614 on

I agree with Meghan. She has no business being in a club and dancing on a table while nearly 5 months pregnant.

- Holly on

Why do people seem to think pregnant women are made out of glass? If she’d gone to the club and was drinking wine or beer or something, then I could understand people getting upset. However, it says right in the post that she was drinking water, and I don’t see what’s wrong with her dancing on a table.

I’m sure she knows what her body can and can’t handle. :)

- CelebBabyLover on

O PLEASE Holly, who are you and Meghan to tell the woman where she should and shouldn’t be while she is pregnant. IT’s NONE of your business!!!!!!

Who gave you both licenses to patrol and monitor pregnant women? What is good for the goose is not always good for the gander and just because going to a club is not your cup of tea, it doesn’t mean that this woman or any other women cant!!!!

It boggles my mind at the audacity of some of the posters on here. So quick to judge other people. There is a saying, ‘when you live in a glass house, dont throw stones!’

If she wants to dance on a pole in the middle of Antartica, its her business. I am sure, she would never put her unborn child at risk, so quit acting like her mother.

- Dee on

awwww, congrats to them. looks like she is one week behind me– hehe, i’ve been anxious to find celebs who are at the same stage as me. :)
hope everything stays good and healthy for them!

- ms. jaQ on

I just say congratulations and keep dancing on tables as long as You can! There is no reason to stop just because you are pregnant as long as the table is stable and you are steady on your feet. I doubt she was dancing on a high pedestal table, in the VIP lounge it was more likely a coffee table with four legs.

- MiB on

Chicki, are you serious? She has every right to keep the gender from us if she wants to. How rude for you to say that seems silly to you. Do you think they really care what we think? And fyi, it is not silly at all, alot of ppl do this. How is that being smug?? Congratulations, Christina!

- Lauren on

Congrats to them both!!! and meghan when someone is dancing, weather on a table or not, doesnt mean anything but having a good time……but what do YOU mean??
