Jessie, “Latino” is an ethnic term, not a skin color term. Ana could well be as white as the average Scandinavian woman but with Spanish-speaking Latin American roots. That makes no sense. How many Latinos are plain white?! Just go to Latin America, especially Argentina, and look for yourself. That’s a stereotyped vision (even for American “Latinos”). Besides, it is a term only used in North America, it is not used here in Europe at all, as a person from any country can have any complexion a human being can possibly have! A white Mexican is simply white, not a “white-Latino/Hispanic-Mexican” or not white at all just because it’s Mexican but looks like Nicole Kidman.

What I am saying is not supposed to start an argument, it is just a view of another view that I consider too narrow (and for the record, I’m not even Hispanic nor Latino, two badly used as synonyms terms, I am neutral)!

The baby is so sweet, I’m to see if she is going to inherit her fathers curls. It would be so cute!
