Lori Loughlin and Daughters Pose at Premiere

David Longendyke/Globe

90210 star Lori Loughlin brings some special guests to the season two premiere of her show — daughters Olivia Jade, 10 this month, and Isabella Rose, 11 this month — on Tuesday evening in Hollywood, Calif.

Olivia and Isabella are Lori’s daughters with her husband, designer Mossimo Giannulli.

Lori, 45, recently ‘fessed up to one of her frazzled mom moments:

“I find that whenever I leave the house with my daughters, I always need to take a million different things, and there are times when I get to our destination and realize that I forgot the most important thing. One time, I was the ’snack mom’ for my daughter’s class, and when I got there, I realized I’d left the snack on the kitchen counter at home.”

Chris O'Donnell: 'I've Got a Lot of Mouths to Feed'

Stephen Shugerman/Getty

For father of five Chris O’Donnell, the decision to move from the big screen to the small screen was easy. Not only does he consider television “an exciting format,” the 39-year-old actor says signing on to the cast of NCIS: Los Angeles makes sense “on a personal basis” as well. “It worked for me…the idea of being in one city,” he muses in a new interview with The Jacksonville Observer.

“I’ve got five kids now, which is a reality of my life that I had to consider. I gotta work. I’ve got a lot of mouths to feed and they eat a lot.”

Although he worked less while building his family with wife Caroline, Chris says he is anxious to kick his career back into high gear. “I like being busy to set an example for my kids,” he explains. “I came out of college and was working nonstop, then I stopped for a while and had a bunch of kids.”

When those kids — Lily Anne, 10, Christopher ‘Chip’ Eugene, 8 ½, Charles McHugh, 6, Finley, 3, and Maeve Frances, 21 months — began to notice their dad had a little too much time on his hands, however, Chris said he knew it was time to act!

“All of a sudden I’m sitting at home and my kids are looking at me like, ‘What are you doing?’ I’m like, ‘I don’t know what I’m doing. I think I’m ready to get back to work.’ I’ve been real busy the last couple of years and it feels really good. I hope this show works out and we can do it for many years to come.”

NCIS: Los Angeles airs September 22 at 9 p.m. on CBS.

Josie Bissett's Recipe for Family Bonding

Barry King/WireImage

Dinner is a family affair each and every night for Josie Bissett and her two children Mason Tru, 10, and Maya Rose, 7, the 38-year-old actress tells Cookie magazine. “We love cooking a meal and sitting down to eat it together,” Josie explains. “I enjoy getting their input on ingredients and hearing their ideas about what might taste good.”

Singling out having not taken a “yearlong cooking course all over the world” as her only regret about pre-baby life, Josie is focused now on integrating that love of culinary arts into family life. “It’s so important to engage your kids to create rituals and moments that they will always remember,” she adds.

Weekends for the trio are carefree. “I love not having to get the kids up early for school,” she explains.

“We all wake up at our leisure; the kids know not to wake me up. Then we make breakfast or go out to eat with family. There is usually a sporting event or two to watch!”

The days of toting two crying infants around are clearly long gone, and from the sound of things Josie would say good riddance! The Melrose Place and The Secret Life of an American Teenager star singles out that scenario as her most frazzled mom moment. “They always sounded like they were crying to death when they were that small…and the car seats are turned the other way,” she notes.

“Ugh! I was always frantic to find the pacifier or stretching into awkward positions to get my pinky finger into their little mouths to suck on so they would stop crying.”

Mason and Maya are Josie’s children with ex-husband Rob Estes. Melrose Place premieres September 8th at 9 p.m. on the CW.

VTech Light-up Learning Camera: Show Me Your Happy Face!

My toddler twins are obsessed with electronics and they’d do anything to get their hands on a cell phone, iPod or digital camera. And although the VTech Light-up Learning Camera ($13) isn’t quite the same as mommy’s, it’s definitely engaging and fun.

Perfect for ages 9 to 36 months, the number filled ‘zoom lens’ can be twisted around. In the center of the lens is a baby-safe mirror, which my daughter especially loves. The light-up LED “flash” screen flips up and down and creates numbers and objects with light patterns. It has two modes of play — learning and music — and easy to hold side handles. I love the clicking sound the camera makes when “taking a photo” and that babies can look through the viewfinder just like real cameras.

One thing that I found especially delightful was the voice associated with the songs and comments. Instead of the usual female voice, the Light-up Learning Camera has a friendly, male voice who instructs babies to “Show me your happy face,” counts, sings and exclaims, “Great picture!”

Lindsay Hartley Dishes on Her 'Hysterical' School-Bound Daughter

HC/Splash News Online

For actors (and former Passions co-stars) Justin and Lindsay Hartley, living apart has become a fact of life. Last year, while Justin filmed Smallville in Vancouver, Lindsay would routinely make the flight to Canada but the roles are about to be reversed now that the couple’s 5-year-old daughter Isabella Justice is enrolled in kindergarten.

“Last year, I did quite a bit of traveling up there, but this year it’s not going to be that easy,” the 31-year-old actress notes in a new interview with Soap Opera Digest. “He’s going to be doing all the traveling, pretty much.”

“Bella is going to be full-time in school, so I can’t just take her out.”

Clearly enamored with her daughter, Lindsay raves, “She’s really a good girl and she’s got Justin’s sense of humor, which I’m really proud of because he’s hysterical.” She adds,

“I love the fact that she’s got a good sense of humor, too, because that’s so important in life — to find things light and funny.”

Bella is the only child for the couple, who married in 2004.
