The newlyweds are also parents to son Brendan Joseph, who turns 1 next week.

There was “no saying no” to 9 for actress Jennifer Connelly, she says in a new interview with Film.com. After her two children –Kai, 12, and Stellan, 6 — saw the short version of the now full-length animated major motion picture, they made their wishes clear! “They really loved it,” she recalls. “They were very excited about it.”
For her part, Jennifer, 38, says that saying “yes” was easy — “because of the children.” Noting that “it’s not really a kid’s movie,” however, she says that both boys view 9 quite differently.
“Really, my older son loves [the full-length film] and my younger son loved the short film. My younger son is six and he’s seen parts of this. Because I’m familiar with the film I saw it with him and there was a lot of my covering his eyes. I think just left unsupervised it would be too frightening for him to see the film. So my older son thinks it’s really cool.”
Kai is Jennifer’s son with ex-boyfriend David Dugan, while Stellan is her son with husband Paul Bettany.
9 is now showing nationwide.

It was a Girls Next Door reunion on Wednesday for Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt, who treated their pregnant pal Kendra Wilkinson to a baby shower.
“Kendra was really excited about the shower. It wasn’t a surprise or anything so she was really looking forward to it,” says a source. “She was so happy.”
Kendra, 24, the star of the Girls spin-off Kendra, is in town visiting for the week from her new East Coast home.
She was “so excited to see her good to see her friends,” says the source. “It was just so nice for her to have everyone in the same place. They had a lot of fun.”
Held at Hugh Hefner‘s longtime secretary Mary O’Connor‘s home just outside of L.A., the shower drew playmates, Kendra’s bridesmaids and other gal pals.
Holly and Bridget arrived early in the afternoon to set up the decorations, which included a lot of blue in honor of the baby boy on the way, Hank Baskett IV.
The house was adorned with plenty of sweet treats — multicolored lollipops, taffy candy, cupcakes and blue “It’s a Boy” banners.
Kendra and her husband, NFL player Hank Baskett, were married in June and are expecting their son on Christmas Day.

Ioan Gruffudd and Alice Evans are first-time parents after welcoming a girl! Daughter Ella Betsi Janet Gruffudd arrived at 2:16 a.m. on Sunday, September 6th after 40 hours of labor. She weighed in at 6 lbs., 3 oz and was 21 inches long.
“Ella is very small and unbelievably beautiful,” the new mom tells Hello. “[She] hasn’t got much hair yet.” Alice adds that Ella’s second middle name, Janet, is in honor of her mother, who passed away 10 years ago.
The couple, who met while filming 2002’s 102 Dalmatians and wed in fall 2007, announced the pregnancy in April.
Ioan, 35, and Lost actress Alice, 38, knew the sex of the baby prior to delivery, but kept it private.
Of impending parenthood, the Fantastic Four star said,
“I’m sure we have no idea what we are heading into. But we both love each other so much and really hope that we will create an environment of love and happiness.”

Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl and her husband, singer/songwriter Josh Kelley, are adopting a baby girl from Korea, her rep confirms. The actress, 30, will officially announce the news on Friday’s Ellen DeGeneres Show.
RadarOnline.com was first to report the news.
Katherine has been open about the couple’s plans to adopt, citing her sister Meg — who was adopted from Korea herself — as an inspiration.
“It’s definitely something we’ve talked about and want to do. I want to honor her and her part in my life. I think adoption is a hugely important thing.”

Learning when to choose your battles is key to peaceful coexistence with a toddler, and for Nicole Sullivan and 2-year-old Dashel Pierce, the biggest battle of all is often waged first thing in the morning. When asked by Cookie magazine to identify her biggest frazzled mom moment, the 39-year-old actress replied,
“Every day when I’m getting him dressed and trying to convince him to wear something other than his Lakers jersey. He’s obsessed.”
What’s more — when asked about husband Jason Packham — Nicole joked that the issue which divides them most is whether “[Dash] should wear something besides his Lakers jersey.” All joking aside, the question of what to wear seems downright trivial when compared to the very real health issue which keeps Nicole awake at night — Dash’s “severe peanut allergy.”
“I think about different ways I can send him to school in the future with a cool holster for his EpiPen. I’m just constantly thinking about ways to keep him safe.”
Having recently welcomed new baby Beckett Edward, 10 days, Nicole has likely temporarily suspended her favorite family ritual of “date night” with Dash every Thursday at a local restaurant. “We eat pasta and laugh,” she shares. The good times have continued unabated at home, however; In the interview, conducted shortly before Beckett’s arrival, Nicole described a typical Saturday morning for the then-family-of-three.
“Daddy and Dash make pancakes as we all dance to hip-hop in the kitchen. And they laugh at Mommy because she’s very pregnant and looks silly dancing.”
Noting that Dash “looks just like me and acts just like my husband,” Nicole added, “There’s good and bad to both those things.” The couple — married since 2006 — also share the role of disciplinarian. “We both understand that it takes a little of [good cop and bad cop],” she notes. “We split the roles, but sometimes my husband busts me for spoiling.”

Sunny smiles all around for Marissa Jaret Winokur and family, who are vacationing in Hawaii this week! The actress and reality star, 36, splashed around on the beach with husband Judah Miller and their son Zev Isaac, 13 months, on Tuesday in Maui.
Earlier today, Marissa tweeted, “Zev loves the beach and playing in the sand!! and smelling flowers! last night we let zev swim in the ocean at sunset!! it was amazing.”
