For many children, poring through the contents of mom’s purse is an exciting adventure. While a stuffed wallet filled with credit cards, receipts and make-up often tend to be far more exciting to a toddler than their own toys, mothers are left with the fun task of wiping off the lipstick marks and picking up the piles of paper off the floor. Fortunately, parents can rest a bit easier when they hand their little one a purse to call their own.

Celebrity parents prove to be no different when it comes to their little princesses toting their pint-size purses. On Monday, Suri Cruise was all about style — in heels and a skirt, clutching her purse — during a stroll down the streets of Boston with her mom Katie Holmes. Back in March, Stella — accompanied by her mom Molly Shannon — made a day out of hitting the shops. From her string of pearls to her petite handbag, Stella easily carried off her sophisticated look. After grabbing a brownie with her dad Adam Sandler, Sadie had not one, but two purses on her arm as she made her way back to the car!

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt Shows Off Her Gap-Toothed Grin

She’s missing a tooth! Angelina Jolie steps out with kids Shiloh Nouvel, 3, Zahara Marley, 4 ½, and Pax Thien, 5 ½, on Wednesday in Toulon, France.

The group was taking a trip to Toys ‘R Us.

Angelina and partner Brad Pitt are also parents to Maddox Chivan, 8, and twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline, 14 months.

Angelina wears a dress and Zahara wears a skirt by Gerard Darel.

Ellen Pompeo Welcomes Daughter Stella Luna

It’s a girl for Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery! The couple welcomed a daughter, Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery, on Tuesday, September 15th in Los Angeles, her rep confirms.

The Grey’s Anatomy actress, 39, and Chris, 41, a music producer, announced the pregnancy in April. The pair wed in 2007.

Last month, Ellen celebrated her baby shower. There’s been quite the baby boom on the Grey’s set — costar Katherine Heigl recently adopted a daughter, 10-month-old Naleigh, while Chyler Leigh is also a new mom to daughter Anniston Kae, 4 months.

So chic! Karolína Kurková makes a statement in a flowing, beaded gown at the opening night of Tosca, held at the Metropolitan Opera at Lincoln Center on Monday evening in New York City.

The Victoria’s Secret angel, 25, expects her first child, a son, with fiancé Archie Drury this fall. In July, Karolína shared,

“I always wanted to have kids and I love children, but being pregnant, the whole experience of having a baby inside of you that’s growing. I start feeling the kicks now and feel the baby, it’s just the most amazing thing. I just can’t explain.”

Jenna Elfman and Ashley Jensen Have Babies on the Brain

The new CBS sitcom Accidentally On Purpose already has babies on the brain, and now its stars Jenna Elfman and Ashley Jensen are both expecting in real life, with veteran mom Jenna sharing pregnancy tips with her costar and introducing her to the concept of baby showers.

The new series — which centers around a thirtysomething career woman getting pregnant after a rendezvous with a twentysomething fella — is taking two different approaches with its leading ladies.

Since Jenna’s character is pregnant onscreen, she gets to show her bump, while Ashley’s is being hidden by strategic use of camera angles and props.

Jenna, who’s just entered her second trimester, tells PEOPLE she saw a window to have baby no. 2 (she and husband Bodhi Elfman are parents to 2-year-old son Story Elias) while still working.

“It was like an afterthought perk. I thought, ‘Well, if the show gets picked up that could be cool. I can have my next kid and I won’t have to hide it.’ You know, I’m not in my early twenties so I got to get busy.”

The former Dharma & Greg star, 37, said her producers took the news of her lucky timing well.

“I had to tell them pretty early on because they were trying to schedule me to get the belly prosthetic. I didn’t want to waste the production money. I was like ‘So guys, listen, here’s the deal: I’m pregnant.’ They were like ‘Okay then – thanks for telling us!’”
