Rebecca Romijn Enjoying Her 'Clingy' Twin Girls

Sam Sharma/Pacific Coast News

The roles of primary caregiver have been reversed in the Romijn-O’Connell household, and mom Rebecca Romijn says there is at least one advantage to being the less-familiar face for twins Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip, 9 months next week.

“I was with them right up until they were six months, which is when we started shooting [Eastwick], and I felt like they kind of took me for granted a little bit,” Rebecca explains to Starpulse. “[Dad] Jerry [O'Connell] would walk in, and they’d be like ‘Ahhhh.’”

“They never even noticed that it was me with them the whole time. Now that I’m not there as many hours during the day, they’re pretty clingy and I have to say I love it. It’s the best feeling in the world.”

The girls have their own respective twins in mom and dad, Rebecca says. “One looks just like Jerry, one looks just like me….I mean, and our baby pictures, if we compare our baby pictures with each other, they’re identical,” she reveals. Both are also crawling, as well as teething — serendipitous timing, as Rebecca reveals that at the time of the interview, she had stopped nursing just three weeks before. “And yes, I was a milk machine,” she adds. “I felt like that’s all I was to them, just this walking milk machine.”

While some women find that weaning allows them to lose the remainder of their baby weight, Rebecca says she hasn’t been so lucky. “The weight that I gained when I was pregnant felt very natural, [and] losing it was very natural but I still have a ways to go,” she concedes. “How I’ll lose the rest of it, I don’t know…Those last 10 pounds, man, they’re a doozy.”

The 36-year-old actress admits, however, that her impressive near-return to pre-baby form was not entirely her idea. Instead, she says that her diet and workout regimen were necessitated by “the business,” noting that her “own vanity” made watching the pilot of Eastwick “difficult.”

“I was like, ‘Oh my God, that looks like a lady who just had babies’…If it was just me, I have a way more important job at home with these babies. The pressure of losing weight like that would not be there at all.”

As for other new moms, Rebecca says to take things one day at a time. “Repeat this mantra: It’s only temporary,” she advises. “This too shall pass. That’s gotten me through every single stage of every single day that I’ve had so far with these girls.”

Rebecca’s new series Eastwick airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on ABC.

Keisha Castle-Hughes and Felicity-Amore Work the Runway

Splash News Online

Keisha Castle-Hughes and her shy daughter Felicity-Amore, 2, made their runway debut at the Trelise Cooper Kids Show at Air New Zealand Fashion Week on Friday.

“I have waited this long for [Felicity-Amore] to fit the clothes because they are so beautiful, and then it was just a fun idea to have her in the show,” the actress, 19, told Stuff.co.nz.

As the youngest model, Felicity-Amore suffered a bit of stage fright, but all was well, Trelise said, explaining that Keisha asked if her daughter could be included.

“I would not have asked because two is very little, but we thought mum could walk with her if she doesn’t want to go on with the other little girls.”

Samantha Bee and Jason Jones on Piper's 'Potty Humor'

Matt Carr/Getty Images

It should come as no surprise that Piper Bee-Jones, 3 ½-year-old daughter of Daily Show correspondents Samantha Bee and Jason Jones is a comedian-in-the-making — and “potty humor” is her specialty!

In an interview with Time Out New York Kids, Samantha reveals that Piper’s “favorite thing” is to “substitute the word poop or pee into any song or aspect of the conversation,” and mom does little to dissuade the practice!

“She thinks it’s so hysterical,” Samantha says. “Unfortunately, I also think it’s hysterical, so I encourage it.” The couple’s newest addition — 15-month-old Fletcher – is also a source of amusement, despite their better judgment! Says Jason,

“That’s half the problem with our parenting. We laugh at the stuff that other parents are scolding their kids for. Like Fletcher will take a handful of eggs and whip them at the wall, and we’re like, ‘Sorry, but comedically, that was very funny. It came out of nowhere.’”

The feeling is not always mutual, however. Piper once watched one of Jason’s Daily Show skits and was not impressed by what she saw. Their daughter “cried so hard that we don’t show her anything anymore,” Samantha recalls. “It was so upsetting…We didn’t think it through.” She explains,

“To be fair, it was the one where he was making fun of being a dad early in her life. She just saw it recently. It appeared that he had dropped her out of the Baby Björn, and she thought that he’d really dropped her. So we’re not going to let her watch any of our stuff for a while. We’re having a little moratorium on appearing on the show and also watching the show.”

Joking that the sketch was an illustration of Jason’s bad parenting, when in reality he is a “great father,” Jason quips of Piper, “Do you not understand that? How does your two-year-old brain not understand that?”

Ashley Jensen Enjoys Her 'Husband Blocker'

Gregg DeGuire/PictureGroup

Never far away from a TV show, Ashley Jensen is surviving pregnancy with some help from her famous friends.

“I have all these girlfriends who just had babies,” the actress told Celebrity Baby Blog at The Invention of Lying premiere in Hollywood.

Rebecca [Romijn] sends me a body pillow that I can lie in. We have to have specific pillows to hold ourselves in place when you’re sleeping. Jerry O’Connell called it the husband blocker. It’s like seven feet long and curls around. It’s the husband blocker.”

Ashley, who is currently starring on CBS’s Accidentally on Purpose and was a regular on Ugly Betty, says of costar Jenna Elfman, “It’s been great having Jenna on the set, who is herself pregnant and has a child. I’m like, ‘Jenna, Jenna, what do I do?’”

Ashley, 40, is due in October with her first child with husband Terence Beesley. They have purposely not found out the baby’s sex, she shares.

“We thought there are so few surprises left in the world,” she explains. “We wanted to be surprised. So, we don’t have the room painted pink or blue. In fact, we don’t have much of a room. We have to build a room.”

Ashley adds of impending motherhood, “I’m more excited at the moment. I’m sure a little bit of fear. But I’m kind of strangely looking forward to it. It’s been great so far.”

Gisele Bündchen: Baby-on-the-Way is a Delivery Surprise

INF

In a new interview with Brazil’s Caras magazine, Gisele Bündchen sets the record straight on rumors that the baby she expects later this year with husband Tom Brady is a boy to be named Gabriel.

In fact — contrary to those reports — the 29-year-old supermodel says that the sex of their child will very much remain a delivery surprise. “We decided not to know,” she explains.

“We will only know when it is born, in December. Until then, it is a surprise. I want the emotion of finding out then if it is a boy or a girl.”

If baby turns out to be the latter, she’ll have an enviable shoe collection at-the-ready. Gisele says that she “of course” has set aside pint-sized versions of her sandal line in the event that the couple are, indeed, in the pink. “I kept some … from the collections thinking that, if one day I had a girl, she would love to use them,” Gisele reveals. “The baby versions are really cute.”

As she enters her third trimester, Gisele — who conducted the interview the same day she was named a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador — is “trying to eat more healthily,” and is busy settling into her surroundings in Massachusetts, where Tom serves as quarterback for the New England Patriots. Although she has vowed to “keep traveling,” Gisele is quick to point out,

“But my home is in Boston.”

Gisele’s baby-on-the-way is her first; Tom is already dad to John Edward Thomas, 2, with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.
