Ashlee Simpson-Wentz makes a Starbucks run — and her son grabs his own straw — while out and about in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Monday morning.
The actress, 24, and 10-month-old Bronx Mowgli will hit the road this week as they join Pete Wentz on tour.

My daughter is 11 months and has just started walking and we got her first pair of shoes yesterday.

He is one chunky monkey! My kids didn’t wear shoes until they started walking either. It was too much hassle to try and get shoes onto twins, so I didn’t bother until i absolutely had to!

He is just so chubby! As for the shoes, my daughter wouldn’t leave shoes on once she figured out how to take em off lol. That went for socks, hats, ponytail holders, anything. Maybe Bronx just pulled and kicked them off so much, Ashlee decided forget it?

I’m not buying my kids shoes until they can walk. Until then they can go barefoot or rock cute booties/socks. Personally I’d rather be barefoot then wear shoes but to each their own

I personally loved putting cute socks on the babies I would watch while nannying but they do love to pull them off lol.

Hard soled shoes before the age of 2 are bad for foot development, so it’s good that he’s not rocking kicks just yet. I’m sure when it’s actually cold there (one day out of the year?) she’ll break them out, until then, let the sun shine on those little piddies.

I think hes so cute! I didn’t really put shoes on my son until he was walking, i put him in Robeez in the winter though. He hated shoes, and still doesn’t love them.

Michelle, I must be one of the few to agree but I think he just has that real ‘boy’ look, lol. Will change as he gets older & grows into his looks. However I’m sure he’s a real character & some pics have been more flattering (not saying he’s ugly by any means before I get attacked!). Just not my fav personally (partial to sacha schrieber, Donnie Trump, Levi Mccaughany etc – your ‘pretty boys’ I guess, but I know some will disagree and prefer Bronx, each to their own!). JMO. She looks like a loving, doting mum who seems to enjoy it, good on her!

I think he’s cute. He’s one of my favorite boys. Him and Zuma. But like Sam & Freya’s Mum said, people have different tastes when it comes to what’s attractive/cute. I think Michelle could have said it a bit kinder though.
Oh and he IS pretty big for his age. Didn’t Ashlee recently day he’s 20-some pounds already?

Michelle, that’s rude. If you don’t think he’s cute and are concerned that he’s an obese baby, keep your worries to yourself. He looks completely healthy to me. Besides, once babies begin to walk, they slim down anyway.
For example, I don’t think Tori Spelling’s children are “that cute” but I refrain from commenting about them. Simple enough.

Michelle, I see what you’re saying. He has an older face. I actually think he is very cute, and personally think it works on him. It’s a personal opinion. It’s actually funny, because I was just thinking that, as I saw a picture of him, then Zuma, how Bronx looks so much older, because Zuma has a really young, baby face, and Bronx has an old face. I think they are both really cute though!
Christina Aguleira’s son also has an older face, as did Adam Sandler’s older daughter. I didn’t really think she (Sadie) was a commercially cute baby, but now she’s pretty. Some babies that aren’t ‘cute’ (in a gerber baby way) actually become beautiful adults!

Erika- I agree! Bronx just has a really mature face. Suri Cruise is another celeb baby who had a very mature looking face as a baby (I think that, along with the fact she had so much hair as baby, is one of the main reasons why a lot of people were convinced that she was older than Tom and Katie claimed when she was a baby).
