- Mariel on

She’s so cute!

And she’s wearing flat AND her hair looks nice, so others should be happy as well. :b

- Jess on

Ah Ms. Suri aka Little Diva!!! :)

- JMO on

She is a pretty little girl.

- Melanie F. on

Jess- I was just to say “alright! proper shoes.”

- Lacey on

Oh my goodness, a little girl dressed like a little girl, wearing flat shoes, and her hair is not in her face.

I give it about 3 more posts before someone finds SOMETHING to complain about…

- Shannon on

Suri is just precious.

I can’t wait to see this movie! Tom Cruise makes the BEST films!

- ABG on

She’s too big to be carried.

I found something to nitpick about…..just kidding. LoL.

- Laura on

WOW three fathers working in Boston Ben Affleck Mark Walberg and now Tom Cruise..!! Just saw Vanilla Sky the other movie they did
together…Seeing how relaxed she is …it is nice see daddy time
with her.. When Katie was in Australia she was with Suri…

- laura spence on

There is nothing like the comfort of Daddy’s arms!

I’ll throw out some red meat for the sancti-mommies. What. Ballet flats. They’ll make her snaggle-tooth. A ballet dress. OMG that’s way too adult. She’ll grow up to be dancing on a pole at the Nicklelodeon awards. She’s looking off to side. She’ll have vision problems. Tom Cruise should have CPS called on him for carrying her that way. She’s so spoiled for having two stuffed animals. What child needs TWO STUFFED ANIMALS! One is enough. And, how dare they be pink. That’s gender discrimination. Suri said something snarky to Cameron. Cameron will appear on Rachel Maddow to discuss.

- aroundtheywaygirl on

Kim, the same could be said for every child of a celebrity.

- Liliana on

I motion for aroundthewaygirl to get on with it and patent the term “sanctimommies.” Or get a thesaurus. Whichever requires less brain cells.

- Lauren on

Shannon, you guessed right ;)

- Andrea_momof2 on

Believe you meant copyright not patent, Lauren. But I think I’ll write a pamphlet titled “Sancti-mommies: We know what’s best for your child. You don’t.” I’l hand it out at town hall meetings to the people carrying signs that say keep your government hands off my medicare.

- aroundtheywaygirl on

You always know how to make my day brighter, aroundthewaygirl :)

On another note, why is there no uproar about Suri not wearing a helmet while being carried over that concrete???? Or how ballet flats offer no foot/ankle support whatsoever and that Tom and Katie are knowingly endangering her foot health by allowing such a podiatric travesty to occur?? Hmmmm?

- Lola on

such a beautiful duo! They just seem so happy to be with each other!

you know, aroundthewaygirl (and other anti-sanctimommies), many times your comments are actually quite funny and I find myself laughing pretty hard, but it’s slightly hypocritical of you to carry on about the “sanctimommies.” Essentially, all y’all are doing is complaining about something petty and meaningless. The alleged “sanctimommies” get up in arms because they disagree with how someone appears to be parenting and rant about it, and you (and many, many others) get annoyed and rant because the “sanctimommies” are annoyed and ranting.

I still think we all need to just join cyber hands, sing Kumbaya, and live and let live. But, as they say, people in hell want ice water…

and yes, I realize that this, too, could be portrayed as hypocritical, but all the controversy doesn’t actually annoy me, just a point I thought I’d raise.

- marimel on

Katie and Suri were hanging out in Boston, but they’re filming in Worcester and Worcester is definitely not Boston. I think it’s funny how any location in MA is considered Boston.

- crg on

Patent:
Verb-1) to take out a patent on; obtain the exclusive rights to (an invention, process, etc.) by a patent.
2) to originate and establish as one’s own.

Yeah. I meant patent. Believe me.

- Lauren on

Just a little clarification ladies, it’s neither a patent nor a copyright. It’s a trademark. A trademark protects a name, symbol or combination of these things that is an identifying factor of a company, band or other entity/term. It’s a common misconception that names are patented. While handled by the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the actual process for registering names is called either a trademark or a service mark. Patents are for objects, ideas or processes. Obtaining a copyright for a name is not possible since copyrights are used only to protect an author’s “original work of authorship,” be it of audio, literary, dramatic, artistic or other form of intellectual works. Names are not considered a copyrightable material; however, a trademark can be obtained to protect a name instead.

- lizzielui on

crg- It’s probably a subarb of Boston, since that’s where the Cruises are apparently living at the moment. :)

Anyway, Suri’s cute, and I love how she’s lounging in her daddy’s arms! :)

- CelebBabyLover on

does she practice ballet? many start a 3

- mar on

Andrea, I know! Totally called it!

- Shannon on

Wow, I can’t believe how long Suri’s hair got (so quickly)! I’m glad they decided to grow it out. Looks adorable : ) I stillt hink Suri is one of the cutest kids of all time!

- Patrice on

crg: Right! I live just outside of the city and it doesn’t matter the town: Lexington (30+ minutes away); Worcester (up to 45); Abington, Salem, whatever, they always report stars as being on location “in Boston”! It’s ridiculous!.

- Patrice on

Well, since we’re getting so completely technical, it could be argued that since aroundthewaygirl has become so consumed by the “idea” of what a sanctimommy is the way no other reader has before, she could therefore patent it. I think the dictionary should take note of this as well, since it doesn’t seem to recognize the technicality either.

And crg and Patrice, I’m totally with you. As someone who grew up outside of Boston-get the names of the towns right. If they were filming in Worcester, say Worcester-itis a city in itself that isn’t really even near Boston.

- Lauren on

marimel – “Cyber hands!!” Love it!! And I agree with the live and let live… I’ll hold your cyber hand and sing virtual Kumbaya with you any day :-)

- Summer on

Looks like she’s on her way to or from ballet class, why bother to change shoes when you can have daddy carry you!

- MiB on

I think Suri looks so cute :D I also love the fact that her hair is starting to grow out …..
