The 2-year-old attended the event — held Tuesday at Roseland Ballroom in New York City — with her parents, NASCAR star Jeff Gordon and model Ingrid Vandebosch.

That pic makes Ingrid look old. Maybe it’s just how she is posed though. Ella is adorable and she does look older than 2. I agree that she looks like Jeff. Jeff looks happy and very relaxed. Cute family!

Wow some of you are judgmental and just SO concerned about Ella’s well-being. I think there are more important things to worry about, she looks fine.

She’s super cute! Although she looks a little… grumpy? Sleepy maybe? Or she’s a little confused about why all the other kiddies are walking the stage and is thinking about that.
In any event, Mom & Dad look happy and all her hair!
@freebreeze: Why is that sad? Maybe she’s enjoying the music and the swirl of colors and being with both her parents… Two year olds can sit quietly *sometimes* (particularly when they are being amused by what they see) and we have expectations that they will sit quietly in places like restaurants, on planes, on the bus, right? Not consistently, but sometimes?

Oh, and I wonder where Ella’s blonde hair came from, as both of her parents have dark hair (however, Ingrid appears to have some blonde roots in this picture, so maybe her hair is dyed).

CelebBabyLover, it is not unheard of that blonde children become brunette adults, I have seen it several times and it usually runs in the family. It seems to happen, in particularly in women, many get darker when they reach puberty and even darker with each pregnancy. One of my school friends had about the same colour hair as Ella when she was a child, got slightly darker when she hit puberty and then even darker when she got pregnant (she now has hazelnut coloured hair). Her mother said it was the same for her, after two children she has about the same hair colour as Ingrid.
