Are there actually schools out there that still allow peanut butter or other peanut containing foods? None of the schools I know of allow any.

I thought the no shoes at home article would be about how a baby’s foot shouldn’t have hard soled shoes to develop properly. How many people actually wear their shoes in the house? Is it really that common? Everyone I know takes them off at the door and if their feet are cold then they wear slippers. I hate wearing anything on my feet so as soon as I’m home even my socks come off.

At my daughter’s school they don’t say peanuts are not allowed, which I was surprised about. (Not that I agree with this) the children with allergies eat in a seperate lunch room I believe.

Lorus, I thought the same thing! I was all interested in reading about why babies shouldn’t wear shoes! Haha. I couldn’t imagine wearing shoes in my house. So uncomfortable!

The video about Gina Marie Incandela brought tears to my eyes. That little girl has a beautiful voice.

Lorus- Well, my dad wears shoes in the house all the time! I don’t understand it myself, but he does it. :)

Oh, and congrats to Colin and his GF!

I send my kids to school with PB&Js in their lunch boxes nearly everyday and no one has said anything to me. There was never a note sent out that bans any food.
