Tom Brady Confirms Gisele Bündchen's Pregnancy

After months of speculation, revealing photos and chatty sources, Tom Brady has confirmed the good news: wife Gisele Bündchen is, indeed, pregnant.

In an interview with ESPN’s Chris Berman airing Sunday on SportsCenter and on Monday Night Countdown, the 32-year-old New England Patriots quarterback reveals that the couple — who married earlier this year — expect their baby-on-the-way in December.

While Tom said he would happily attend Lamaze classes with Gisele, he will do so with at least one caveat: “I told her no Sundays,” he joked. “It couldn’t be harder than training camp, so I’ll be prepared.” Noting that “the women are the ones who have to do the work,” he adds,

“We just have to be there to support them and so it’ll be nice to do that.”

The child will be the first for Gisele and the second for Tom, who is already dad to 2-year-old John Edward Thomas with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.

I wonder why it took so long for them to confirm the pregnancy but Giselle was so open about her love and relationship with John? I don’t know, just wondering!

Perhaps it took them so long to confirm the pregnancy because it was leaked to the press very early on? Most couples wait until well after the first trimester before they tell people. Not every celebrity runs to the press the minute they see the positive on the pregnancy test. Gisele didn’t discuss John publicly until he was over 1 years old. I’m sure she will discuss this baby at some point as well. I don’t know, just guessing!

Giselle certainly got beat up when she talked about her stepson, so I don’t blame either one of them for not saying anything until well into the 2nd trimester! Bottom line-I think Tom and Giselle are great parents, and this new baby is coming into a very happy and loving family. Congrats to Tom, Giselle, and Jack!!! AND GO PATRIOTS!!!

It seems as if Gisele spent most of her time with Tom Brady while they were dating being with his little baby boy. How could she NOT want her own child with Tom? They were playing house and being a family since day 1, practically since the beginning of their relationship. I’m sure Gisele wanted her own after being around Tom and his boy. In other words, she got the baby bug really soon after meeting him and little John (which is understandable). If you think about it, Gisele’s known that little boy since BEFORE he was born…lol. I think she’ll be a great mom to her own child. They’ll make a fabulous family. I hope Tom has another boy.
