Busy Philipps had an on-set visitor while working on her new show on Tuesday — daughter Birdie Leigh!
The baby girl, who will be 13 months old this week, and her nanny dropped in on mom while Busy, 30, was filming Cougar Town in Los Angeles.
Cougar Town, costarring Courteney Cox-Arquette, premieres September 23rd at 9:30 p.m. on ABC.

sweet little girl but i really can’t get used to the name Birdie. i’m sorry to me it just sounds silly. JMO but it really doesn’t sound like a name. perhaps it’s just more common in america and i’m not used to it, but i can’t believe that that is her genuine name and that it won’t irritate her when she’s a teenager or applying for a job.

Birdie is so cute. She has the most adorable cheeks. Her name is not my personal style but it goes well with Busy and Bijou. Re JM: Birdie is a name. It is English and means “Noble & Bright”.

elizabeth, i know Birdie is actually a name i just meant it doesn’t sound like a name to me because it isn’t at all common anymore and just sounds like a nickname. the same goes for Busy, it just sounds silly to me and i can’t imagine that Birdie won’t feel a bit silly with the name as she gets older. but hey, it’s up to her parents, not my problem.
