Sarah Jessica Parker Wants You to Go Shopping!

Knowing that she’d be photographed while taking son James Wilkie to school Thursday morning, Sarah Jessica Parker gives Fashion’s Night Out a little free publicity!

The event, which is taking place wordwide this evening, is a “global initiative to promote retail, restore consumer confidence, and celebrate fashion.”

U.S. and international editions of Vogue are coordinating evening extravaganzas in their respective world fashion capitals. Stores will be open late and special appearances abound — follow FNO on Twitter to keep up with NYC happenings!

In addition to James, 6 ½, Sarah Jessica and husband Matthew Broderick are parents to twin daughters Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge, 11 weeks.

I have never seen this child in pants that fit. They are *always* too short. I don’t know if this is because she only dresses him in hand-me-downs, as was once stated, or if she just doesn’t think a child’s appearance matters. It will be interesting to see if her daughter’s are dressed as casually or if she will impart some of her fashion sense on them…

What a sweetie! I really like his red hoodie and sneakers combo. I have always thought that his short trousers are either because he likes them short, or because he is so skinny that it is difficult to find trousers that fit him in the waist – I too would prefer too short trousers fitting in the waist to good lenght trousers that were too big in the waist.

I just got my copy of this week’s PEOPLE magazine…and in it there is an article about the Sex and the City Movie sequel. It includes lots of pictures…including one of Tabitha and Marion taking a stroll with their nanny on set. The girls are adorable, and they look identical to me!
