Pretty in pastel pink! Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban (not pictured) and daughter Sunday Rose, 14 months, spent some time at the farmer’s market in Nashville, Tennessee on Tuesday.
While Nicole carried their daughter, Keith schlepped their purchases — a carton of fresh tomatoes and homemade marinara sauce — back to the car!
Is the wind blowing… or could that be a baby bump?
Does anyone else think it’s strange, not to be mean or anything like that, that Nicole and Tom adopted 2 kids, but then went on to have bio kids of their own with different partners?

Sometimes a couple is just not compatible when having a bio child. But when they are with another partner they get pregnant. I hate to jump on the bandwagon but it does look like she may be pregnant.Not so much the belly alone to me but the boobs and belly together!

@Elizabeth — Yes, it doesn’t seem to be what most people do. However, it isn’t “strange” to neglect consensus opinion and standard procedure when living your life. It just means that you are secure and maybe, experimental, in how you live. Atypical, yes, strange has a negative connotation that I do not think applies here. Strange is your need to comment on this.
Sunday is so cute and so big! I can’t want to see more photos as she grows up.

I mean I know as a mom you will never have a “flat” stomach again, but she has always been super slim and this could possibly be a baby bump. Either way she and Sunday look absolutely beautiful.

Elizabeth, why is that weird? In their relationship adoption was the right road, with their respective new partners a lot of time had passed and perhaps having a biological child was what felt right for them at this new point. Also even if for Tom and Nicole adoption was their favoured way to parent, in their new relationships Katie and Keith may have wanted the chance to biologicaly have a child.

Mandy…Meg said “before” not “until”, meaning that she was thinking Nicole looked pregnant when she saw the picture, and then she read all the comments and saw that other people were thinking the same thing. Anyway, there were pics of Nicole a few days ago at some event and she was wearing tight clothes, so it may just be the way she’s standing.

I thought she was pregnant just for the fact that they bought marinara sauce and tomatoes!! I craved tomatoes with all 4 of my kids really early in the pregnancies. Then I saw the picture…she kinda looks pregnant at that angle…

Since Nicole has let her hair grow back to its natural shade, I think it is easier to see some resemblance with Sunday. But for the most part, Sunday looks more like Keith. They seem like a happy family.

Sunday is so cute, and I hope they do eventually have another child, whether she’s pregnant or not .

Nicole said on a talk show it would be very unlikely she would ever be able to have another child, that Sunday was a one in a hundred chance, an absolute miracle. And now she is even older….not too likely she is pregannt again.

Nicole has always said the ‘Kidman” women have tummies. Her mother, her sister, and Nicole. On the weekend she was in tight jeans and a figure fitting dress. I rather doubt she is preggers. They seem like such a happy and at peace family.

Louise- Right on! I also want to point out that there were plenty of pregnancy rumors floating around right after Nicole and Keith got engaged, as well as right after they got married. I have seen some of those pictures, and even I have to admit that she looked pregnant in some of them. However, as we all know, either none of the rumors were true, or poor Nicole has had a few more miscarriages than we realize.
Anyway, I have to chuckle at the fact that, when Nicole was pregnant with Sunday, people spent most of her second trimester (she didn’t announce the news until she was three months along, so no one even knew she was pregnant when she was in her first trimester) saying she looked way too small for her stage of pregnancy, and even wondering if she was pregnant all (there were actually a few people that speculated that Nicole was actually having a surrogate carry her child, and was wearing a prosethitc bump!).
Yet now people are claiming to see a bump!

@ Elizabeth – Tom and Nicole lost at least one pregnancy when they were together. I think they had some troubles in that department during their relationship. With that said, there could be a multitude of reasons why they adopted. Nicole was still making a name for herself when she was first with Tom. Perhaps a biological child didn’t fit with her/their plans at that particular time. Whatever the reason, I don’t find it at all strange that they have each gone on to have a bio child with other partners.

I don’t think she is preg. I think it is the angle she is standing trying to carry Sunday, and her back may be swayed with the bag thrown over it. Guess time will tell though:)

Elizabeth, Nicole and Tom did try having their own children – I believe she got pregnant early in the marriage and miscarried, and was pregnant again and had another miscarriage soon after Tom left her. In between, they adopted their two children. When Nicole was on The View promoting her movie, Australia, she said that the doctors gave her an only 2% chance of having a baby, so the pregnancy and subsequent birth of their gorgeous little girl was a huge and wonderful surprise. And that’s not a baby bump – she has her hips pushed forward carrying Sunday.

Why would anyone think chosing adoption is somehow less that having a biological child? We have no biological children but 2 adorable children, none the less. They are my girls regardless of whether they grew in my womb or in my heart.

Why is it that every time a woman in Hollywood gains a little weight in the waistline everyone jumps to the conclusion that she is pregnant??? They are human and they are allowed to gain a little weight! I think she looks beautiful as she always has been, belly or not! Their daughter is gorgeous!

Tina- I couldn’t agree more! It really bugs me when people say things like, “They tried to have their own children,” or, “Why didn’t they have children of their own first?” Children who are adopted are just as much their parents “own” children as biological children are!
Patty- You are correct except for one thing. Nicole actually had an Ectopic pregnancy (not a miscarriage) early in her marriage to Tom (she spoke about it a few years ago), and a miscarriage around the time she and Tom divorced (to be fair, we weren’t there, so we don’t really know who “left” whom, or if it even was a case of one person “leaving” the other. All we “know” about the divorce is tabloid speculation.).

After her eptopic pregnancy, Nicole and Tom adopted because they wanted children but Nicole didn’t want to go through another pregnancy for the time being because of the way her first one turned out.

Cute picture! Every time I see a pic of little Sunday, she looks more and more like Keith. I saw Nicole on “Oprah” a few months back, and Nicole said she calls Sunday, “Keithette” because of how much she looks like him!
