Kourtney is LOVING all the attention she’s getting from this pregnancy. In fact, I think she’s so happy to finally be having the spotlight on her instead of Kim. And you can tell that Kim is green with envy too, lol! Talk about competitive sisters.

Please stop with the negativity. I commented already on this post but if you are not interested in her dont look at the article never-the-less comment. She has a famous family and is an entertainer. She is on a REALITY show. The show is for entertainment people! If they just sat and watched tv and ate nobody would watch the show. I’m speaking and im not even a fan of the family and as someone above mentioned im not a fan of the Hilton’s either. However its on this site bc she is being blessed with a child! I congratulate her on her upcoming miracle baby! And also Zanna, both the Kardashian sisters and the Hilton sisters are business women. i think she looks great! It seems she is happy now, with her baby daddy…right? I watched just a few shows of her reality show with khloe, and all i ever saw her doing was being upset and trying to get over him….she seemed so sad:( maybe this is a good thing for her and him, maybe they will be good parents???? Kourtney looks absolutely beautiful and so happy! I don’t know why, but Scott kind of gives me the vibe that he really doesn’t enjoy being in the public eye and prefers to keep to himself, which I think is kind of ironic given his girlfriend and her family obviously like the attention (not hating, but they have a TV show, so to some extent they have to enjoy the attention). I know a lot of people can’t stand the Kardashian/Jenner clan, but I think this baby is so fortunate to enter into a family who has so much love and compassion for each other.

For the record, I wasn’t “hatin” on Kourtney, just pointing out that I think she’s loving all the attention she’s getting for the pregnancy. I have only seen their shows a couple of times, but you can tell that all the Kardashian girls are competitive with each other. Since Kim’s gotten most of the attention, you can tell that Kourtney is loving being in the spotlight.

Alice…. all I can say is touche! You are absolutely correct and though I’ve questioned this before I even mentioned that her father was famous but for some reason it didn’t ever click that that makes Nicole a celebrity baby, which is obviously the point of this site (what a duh moment for me, haha!). We could stretch it and say Kourtney, in her own right, is a celeb baby because her father was quite well known in the 90s and her stepfather is obviously very well known, but like I said, that’s a stretch. Nonetheless, I still think she is a celeb because she is famous, just not in the traditional sense of the word. Thank you for making me understand!!!!

Actually someone (the poster’s name escapes me) gave you an excellent, thought-out response to your question. I don’t want to speak on her behalf but the basic gist was that while Nicole Richie is indeed famous for similar reasons as Kourtney and Kendra, Nicole’s interviews, parenting style and overall demeanor thus far has been refreshingly mature and classy especially in light of her wild past. Especially compared two her double KK counterparts (so far).
I’m not a huge Nicole Richie fan myself but I prefer her not necessarily due to her level of her (subjective) celebrity but for the fact that she did not pimp every single detail and milestone of her pregnancy specifically for attention. There’s still a lot of time for Kourtney to reign in the famewhoring and I’d love to be pleasantly surprised about that! But I’d feel the same way about a more legitimate celebrity (like, say, Alyson Hannigan) if he/she also felt the need to share every miniscule, TMI-cringe inducing detail all in the name of attention. It’s just a bit more grating when it’s someone like Kourtney, who for all intents and purposes is famous for having a sister with a sex tape. And’s that’s not being a hater, it’s just acknowledging reality.
On that note…why does anyone who expresses a less than gushing sentiment about any celebrity on this site slapped with a “hater” label? IMO that’s one of those “you’re just jealous!!!” type terms which don’t really apply in 80% of the instances they are being used. I think it’s refreshing when people feel free to call out celebrities as they see fit–seriously, they are just people. And I highly doubt that any of them are losing sleep over any approved comment on this site positive or negative. The calls for censoring negative-yet-CBB approved posts are tiring because if a comment is already approved by the site, it’s a moot point to try and stifle someone’s right to a different opinion.
I have no problem at all with this Kourtney post, but her interviews thus far have been…interesting. Perhaps more people will have positive comments when/if Ms. Kardashian begins to exercise a little more discretion, who knows, maybe she’s already started on that. I guess we’ll see.

As for the Kourtney/Nicole comparisons, while Nicole was initially famous for doing nothing, she is now a clothing designer, a published author and a philantropist. An arguement could also be made that since her partner Joel Madden is a celebrity in the literal sense of the word, showcasing her out with Harlow would be no different than photos of Kevin Federline out with his children with Britney Spears. Kourtney’s partner is not a celeb in the literal sense either, so really it’s not the same.
Reality show “stars” are now considered celebs, so she should be on the site.

I still don’t really agree with that since, but I definitely understand where you and others are coming from and why that is some peoples opinions! But seriously, thanks for taking the time to a. remind me, and b. explain your take on the matter, I appreciate it! Also, and I think you were addressing several people in your post, but I just want to clarify that by questioning how she’s less of a celeb than Nicole, I’m not trying to imply that I think the nay-sayers are “haters.” There’s plenty of celebs on this site I couldn’t care less about, but it doesn’t mean I hate them… kinda hard to hate someone I’ve never had an encounter with, and I think that’s how a lot of the commenters feel. I too think the need to divulge so much info in such detail is a bit excessive, but that’s Hollywood for ya.

I agree with Patricia and Amanda and probably some others. It’s sad that some Kourtney defenders are becoming as immature as some of the bashers. Both sides need to grow up.

I’ve always found the whole Saint Nicole thing quite funny as well. I mean, I like her, I just find it so weird how there’s a tonne of love for Nicole when there’s a huge contrast with Kourtney who is essentially famous for the same reasons. They both fit into that whole “socialite” box after all and they are socialites because of who their father’s are/were. Also, are we forgetting that Nicole served a jail sentence while pregnant (however short that may have been)? Her turnaround (and our subsequent love of her) seemed to happen during her pregnancy (after the jail thing) and even further once she’d had Harlow. The former wild child reality star is now earth mother extraordinaire, who designs clothes and looks so beautiful and only lets her daughter play with good toys and feeds her totally homemade food.
My point?
Give Kourtney a chance.
Right now, I think she’s less of a worry than Nicole was a few years back. There’s no substance abuse that we know of, there’s no uber-skinny look, there are no criminal charges etc. She even has a university education, so she’s not daft. So what if her mouth runs away with her sometimes? There are worse things than an overshare and I’m sure many of us will have found ourselves in the same position during pregnancy, boring people with details we think are super important, yet they’re just thinking ‘why is she telling me this?!’.
I don’t have strong opinions on any of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, but I certainly am keeping an open mind on Kourtney’s parenting skills. There is a very real and almost identical precedent for this situation and given the near hero worship of Nicole that goes on on this site, I can’t honestly believe that people don’t remember the pre-Harlow life that she had.
I’m very much of the opinion that anyone should be able to respectfully say anything they want to on this site, negative or not, and that the moderators will filter out anything inappropriate, and I very much dislike the self-imposed forum police who try to dissuade people from saying anything that isn’t super nice, but I just find the Kardashian hate, in light of the Nicole love, both inexplicable and hugely hypocritical.
Wait for a year down the line, see how things are then. Let Kourtney prove your opinions of her wrong. With any luck she’ll end up as good as parent as Nicole Richie is. And let’s be honest, did any of us really think she would turn things round like she has?
Congrats to Kourtney and Scott, I for one am looking forward to seeing your beautiful baby.

Kourtney owns 3 successful stores and has dabbled in philanthropy as well. I don’t really see why people are even attempting to create differences between Kourtney and Nicole celebrity. The only thing that matters is you like her and Kourtney annoys you. Thats perfectly acceptable. Fame and celebrity do not need to be explained and really the circumstances of their fame if examined are near identical..I have some free time on my hands so i’ll list:
-Nicole Richie, adopted daughter of famous singer rose to fame as the sidekick of fameho Paris Hilton after HER sex tape.
-Kourtney Kardashian- Daughter of famous lawyer and step-daughter to famous Olympian Bruce Jenner rose to fame piggybacking off her sisters fame post sex tape(and reality show).
Kourtney Kardashian has actually owned a few stores since 2004 prior to ever becoming famous, so Dash isn’t this cover to make it seem like they really work.
and personally, I don’t think being a hater equals to jealousy. Its just this is clearly a paparazzi photo and she is clearly going about her own business but yet people feel compelled to comment on what a famewhore she is and how she needs to go away. hello! This time, blame it on CCB not Kourtney Kardashian.
And peoples memories seem to be failing!! Nicole Richie went on Good Morning America and 20/20 to announce her pregnancy and she was very much in the spotlight.Many people felt she was milking it to get sympathy with her DUI case.

Regarding Nicole, I think one of the reasons so many people love her now is because of the RADICAL transformation that motherhood has had on her! When she was pregnant, I was one of the biggest skeptics. In fact, I remember wondering how in the world she even got pregnant in the first place b/c she looked anorexic to me (and a lot of times people w/eating disorders stop having periods all together). But she has embraced motherhood to the fullest and is healthy and happy and that’s something to really celebrate!

Electra, obviously you missed the part in my post where I mentioned that Nicole’s partner Joel Madden is famous in his own right in the entertainment industry, so an argument could be made that Nicole & Harlow pics are no different than Kevin Federline pics, as his former spouse Britney Spears is famous. Nicole Richie was a reality star who became a legit celeb, but as other people have said, she is a celebrity child as well as the parter of a “legit” celeb, so an arguement could be made that she belongs here moreso than Kourtney Kardashian.
I don’t really care how they rose to “fame” because if people talk about them, then chances are they are noteworthy enough to be on here. Personally, I think Harlow is a sweetie and like seeing pics of her. Kourtney’s child isn’t here, but when s/he is, I’m sure people will comment on her cuteness as well.

Let’s be honest- this is the best publicity she has ever gotten. So yes, I do think she is milking this pregnancy for all she can get. No doubt! Does it make her a horrible person?- no, but come on- it is what it is. We wouldn’t be here even talking about her if she wasn’t pregnant. This nicole richie/kendra wilkinson/kourtney kardashian comparison pops up in every single post about Kourtney. I am not a fan of Kourtney, but I don’t mind posts about her or Richie. As someone else said, this is a paparazzi photo and quite few posts on her have been razzi photos. So saying she’s milking her pregnancy on posts where she hasn’t been paid would be wrong. We the public have expressed interests in her, the folks who have posted innumberably asking ‘why is she here’ have incidently helped her the most. If there were any question before as to if she had a place on cbb.com the 50-300 comments she generates everytime really answers that question.
I’m still figuring out how to be famous myself for doing nothing.

Does anyone here know that Kourtney FINISHED college & co owns 2 stores? DASH has 2 locations. And the stores opened AFTER her dad unfortunately passed away, so it’s not like she said “daddy give me money to open the store”. I’m not saying college makes her better but how many other socialites do you see with businesses & degrees & not living off their parents?
Nicole made a complete turn around & I commend her for that but it’s not fair everyone loves her but puts a businesswoman like Kourtney down. She’s young, she wants to party & she’s handling her mom duties now.

I ♥ the Kardashian’s and am a religious watcher of their show but something about Kourt’s constant publicity of her pregnancy bothered me. This picture doesn’t seem like one of those times. I really enjoy watching her show ‘Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami!’ Her relationship with her sister, Khloe is fun and sweet…and she looks fantastic now that she is pregnant! I hope all goes well on that score…how could anyone think negative things about her!…She is a great mediator in her family and is often a catalyst for re establishing harmony between her sisters…Khloe and Kim are gorgeous girls too!
