Beautiful! Guiding Light star Marcy Rylan dresses up her bump at the 36th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, held Sunday at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles.
Marcy, 28, and fiancé Don Money expect their first child — whom she refers to as a he! — in mid-October.

Wow, not a fan of soap operas, but this lady looks really beautiful pregnant. Her outfit and hair suit her pregnancy.
I like the show Guiding light marcy’s great. I love her dress!

She looks amazing, wow. You have to remember that Marcy is only 5 feet tall so the belly has no where to go but out. She has been carrying on the larger side for her whole pregnancy. Congratulations to her and Don, they were just engaged at her baby shower.

I’m not a fan of Guiding Light (haven’t watched soaps in years and when I did, I was a die hard ABC soap fan), but I just had to comment that Marcy looks absolutely lovely!

Don’t really watch Guiding Light, so don’t really know a lot about Marcy, but she looks absolutely amazing in this picture! She’s definitely glowing!

i watch GL and shes so great on there! her and bill are cute, she said at the emmys that the baby was a “he”, im really excited for her and to see what they name the baby

I think it’s so funny though…I watch Guiding Light and you can totally tell she’s pregnant. It’s like they can’t even try to hide it with coats or bags anymore!

Lizzie (Marcy’s character)is also pregnant on the soap…Guiding Light will end after 72 years on Friday, September 18, 2009 all the favoritess have been coming back. In fact Billy & Vanessa will be getting married for the 3rd time on September 14, Lizzie & Reva will serve as bridesmaids, hey she might go into labor @ the wedding.

Jennifer- That’s because, as Alecia said, they wrote the pregnancy into the show.
Anyway, I don’t think her referring to the baby as “he” neccesarily means it’s a boy. Some people just use “he” to refer to their baby when they don’t know/don’t want to reveal the gender of their baby so that they don’t have to refer to the baby as “it”.

Sarah- Then why did she refer to her baby in the singular? As another poster pointed out, Marcy is only 5 feet tall. When you’re that short, the belly literally has nowhere to go but out.
Naomi Watts and Isla Fischer are also both short…and both of them got huge with their pregnancies as well (both times in Naomi’s case). In fact, a lot of people were convinced those two were having twins, too (again, both times in Naomi’s case, and towards the end of her pregnancy with Sasha, someone even went as far as to speculate that she was actually having triplets!).
Oh, and actually, Marcy is no where near as huge as Naomi was at the end of her pregnancy with Sasha!
