Karolína Kurková Leaves Return to Modeling Open-Ended

Charles Eshelman/FilmMagic

The catwalk will have to wait for Karolína Kurková. In a new interview with USA Today, the 25-year-old actress and supermodel says that she’s in no rush to return to work after the upcoming birth of her son. “It’s my first time,” she notes. “I don’t know what to expect.”

“I’ll go with the flow and see what it is. I want to create a bond with my baby and get my rhythm…I want to make sure I enjoy it. It’s a special moment.”

The pregnancy has flown by, and Karolína says there is still much work to do. “I have nothing ready, nothing is ordered,” she admits. “But I still have time.” One area in which she’s definitely made headway is deciding on a name for baby boy, however — with a little unsolicited help from mom! “I want her involved, it’s her first grandchild,” Karolína notes. “She’s like, ‘What about Maximilian? Bruno? Sebastian? Hector? Guido?’ I always tell her I’ll put it on my list.”

As for just how long that list is, Karolína remains coy.

“You’ll find out when he’s born. We’ve narrowed it down.”

Baby-on-the-way — due this fall — will also be the first for Karolína’s fiancé Archie Drury. Her new movie G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is in theaters now.

Milla Jovovich Says Daughter Motivated Her to Marry

WENN

After eight years together Milla Jovovich and Paul W.S. Anderson will make it official next week, with a wedding at their home in the Hollywood Hills. In a new interview with Wales Online, the 33-year-old actress says that she owes their big day to their little girl — 21-month-old Ever Gabo. “Having a baby pretty much decided it,” Milla explains. “Up until then, we’d talked about marriage a few times but we were pretty easy about the whole thing.”

It would appear as though Ever has transformed other areas of her mom’s life, as well. Milla admits that her career has taken a back-burner since Ever arrived, noting that a blown audition doesn’t carry the same weight as it did in her pre-baby life. “Even if I don’t get the job, I know I’m going to be really busy as a mom,” she points out. “And even if I didn’t do another film again, being a mom is a full-time job.”

“Having a baby is the most incredible thing I’ve ever done as a person — and also the biggest single teacher in the world for me is my child. When you have a baby, that person becomes so important that only really tangible problems become important, rather than all these emotional concerns that you had before.”

So long as Ever is “growing up well and getting everything she needs,” Milla says that her professional accolades are viewed as “just a plus.” Her enthusiasm for motherhood is evident when the Resident Evil star talks about her plans for Ever’s future. “It’s crazy to see how fast she’s growing and wondering next year if we’ll be taking her on camping trips,” Milla exclaims.

“When we drive somewhere — the excitement of going to Disney World, the mountains or the beach, all the things I did with my parents when I was growing up — I’m so looking forward to all the questions and all the conversations.  It’s incredible to think of how much fun we’re going to have.”

Constance Zimmer on Her Talkative Toddler: 'It's the Cutest!'

Michael Kovac/FilmMagic

At only 19-months-old, Colette Zoe has found a way directly to mom Constance Zimmer‘s heart! With baby girl’s verbal skills recently taking off at an incredible pace, the proud mom admits she finds herself melting at the sound of her daughter’s voice. “When they say ‘no’ it’s so cute. Even when you’re not supposed to laugh, she just goes ‘No!’ and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, it’s the cutest thing ever!” Constance tells Celebrity Baby Blog.

“She’s doing the mimicking thing where you can just say to her, ‘Say this’ and she’ll say it. It’s pretty great because I always just want to hear her.”

However, the true extent of her vocabulary has yet to be determined! While baby girl will notoriously omit the first letter of certain words — calling her cousins Luke ‘uke’ and Hope ‘ope’ — when it came time to ask for a sweet treat, her clarity was near perfection. “I think her first word was cookie! But she actually said, ‘Cookie,’ and not, ‘Ookie,’ so maybe she’s playing a game with me!” Constance laughs. “Maybe she just goes, ‘Hmm, the words that I really care about, I’m going to say for real.’”

Consistently becoming more savvy with her expressions as she picks up on social cues, Colette has also quickly learned to take full advantage of her irresistible personality!

“I saw the moment that she could tell when I was just making fun or something was serious. It’s just crazy because it happens overnight, so it’s kind of fun, but also very scary.”

A first-time mom, the actress is thrilled to take on the responsibility of parenthood and finds her new lifelong role has undoubtedly changed her perspective for the better. After focusing all of her attention on herself before welcoming her daughter, Constance finds comfort in putting Colette first. “Now you have this little thing that you created that comes into the world and it’s really like nothing else matters,” she explains. That said, the addition of a child hasn’t completely stopped the 38-year-old from living her life. “I’m still exactly who I am, I hang out with my friends, I go out at night, there’s just a richness that I’ve never had before.”
