Most little girls look into their mother’s shoe collection and see countless opportunities to play dress up. Out come the high heels, flats — even boots — and a mundane morning quickly becomes a fun-filled day spent marching around the house in endless ensembles. With the new gladiator sandal craze spilling over into baby and toddler sizes, however, a trip to mama’s closet may include a detour to their own!

When Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher stepped out with her daughter Emerson Rose to attend a movie premiere in June, all eyes were focused on the 11 ½-year-old’s pair of stunning Sam Edelman’s ‘Greco’ Sandals ($99). Walking the red carpet, the mother-daughter duo easily carried off their matching shades of gray.

Earlier this week, we spotted actress Candace Cameron Bure with her family at the premiere of Shorts: Adventures of the Wishing Rock. Included in the group was Candace’s daughter Natasha, 11, who was celebrating her birthday in style — complete with a fun pair of navy blue gladiator sandals and a beaming smile to match!

Victoria and Romeo Beckham: Boarding Pass

After spending some time stateside to guest-judge a round of American Idol auditions, Victoria Beckham, son Romeo James, 6 ½, and a plush pal prepare to fly from Los Angeles to London on Tuesday.

Victoria, 35, and husband David Beckham are also parents to Brooklyn Joseph, 10, and Cruz David, 4.

Tori Spelling's Little Maven Launch

Launching her fashion line Little Maven on Friday in Century City, Calif., Tori Spelling poses with her family — husband Dean McDermott and kids Liam Aaron, 2, and Stella Doreen, 14 months.

According to their press release, Little Maven’s designs are “inspired by modern Hollywood living, mixing elements of the chic, yet casual California lifestyle with more distinct expressions of Hollywood vintage and glamour.”

Little Maven is available at Bloomingdales.

Stella wears Pediped Gabrielles in Metallic Pink ($42).

David Boreanaz Staying Home – Just in Case

Ever since David Boreanaz let slip on Regis & Kelly Live in March that he and wife Jaime Bergman are expecting their second child, the Bones actor has clung close to home.

“Jaime’s pregnant, we’re doing construction at the house, and I’m just pulling my hair out,” David, 40, tells PEOPLE. He and Jaime, wed since 2001, already have a 7-year-old son, Jaden Rayne.

Now there’s the new arrival — a girl — to consider. With Jaime on bedrest for the majority of the pregnancy, David felt more comfortable staying near.

“I didn’t go to Comic-Con because the baby was going to come at any minute,” says the anxious father. “We’re just waiting and waiting. It’s nerve wracking, extremely, [but] I finally just decided that it’s going to come when it’s going to come.”

In the meantime, “I must maintain a 20-mile radius. I cannot travel beyond that. If I do, I’ll freak out — I have to be there when the baby comes.”

Jaime is due on September 1st.

Aoki Simmons Celebrates Her Birthday – With Shrek!

Happy Birthday Aoki! Djimon Hounsou, Kimora Lee Simmons, and big sister Ming, 9 ½, pose after seeing Shrek The Musical at the Broadway Theatre on Saturday in New York.

The family was celebrating Aoki’s 7th birthday, which was Sunday. Baby brother Kenzo, 11 weeks, stayed home.
