Levi Alves McConaughey, 13 months, plays in dad Matthew‘s favorite sandbox — the beach! — in Malibu, Calif. on Friday.
The actor and model girlfriend Camila Alves expect their second child in late December/early January.

Looks like this photo puts all the speculation about Levi’s size to rest. He’s obviously perfectly proportioned, “normal” height and very, very cute!

Angelique, you’re abolutely right, I just thougt the exact same thing. I’m so glad CBB posted this picture. I actually think Levi is even quite tall for his age. If you pay attention, he’s feet are even deeper in the sand than his dad’s and his head is slightly bended, and still he is almost reaching his dad’s hips. I think what mislead many CBB readers with the other pictures was that there was nothing to compare Levi to, the angle the paparazzo/i took the pictures and the fact that Levi has a head full of hair and started to walk really early, which makes us easily forget that he is only 13 months old (don’t forget that in babies and up until age 2-3, the upper part of the body is +/- equal to the lower part of the body in height. It’s only later that the proportions will start to change).
Levi is absolutely adorable, I love all his expressions, he seems to be such a kind, gentle baby, he has really a very lovely face and a very positive attitude towards strangers, even when he is in the middle of that paparazzi madness. Amazing for such a young child, if you think about it.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with his height, I just think he’s quite petite. Plus, the height he has comes from his upper body, which is not at all unusual, not all little ones are all legs when they’re this young. I also don’t think there’s any mistaking when it comes to his age. There will be bigger and smaller kids of the same age, I’m sure as Levi grows, we will all see that he is a perfectly normal kid. Some of the things that have been written about him on other blogs have been downright cruel, no one that I’ve seen has said anything nasty here.
