Adorable! Alyson Hannigan played nice with the paparazzi, posing for a quick shot with daughter Satyana, 5 months, before continuing on her way — gDiaper in hand — on Saturday in Santa Monica, Calif.

The How I Met Your Mother star, 35, started back at work this month, and brings Satyana along! “We set up a nursery so I can run off and get to see [her] when I have scenes off,” Alyson explains. “[Motherhood]‘s the best thing that’s ever happened to me! I’m so in love.”

Satyana is the first child for Alyson and husband Alexis Denisof.

Lola Marie, why do you think she is breastfed? Is it her size and if so, is there some connection between breastfeeding and a baby’s growth? I’ve breastfed and bottlefed and my kids were the same sizes at each milestone. I’m just confused if breastfeeding and big babies go hand in hand? Or maybe I just misunderstood your comment.

Willa, I’m with you as well. I was bottlefed (had to be forcefed as an infant as I “chose” thumb over breast) and I was the same size as kids who were breastfed.

What a cutie! This is the first really clear shot we’ve had of her, and she is obviously adorable. Love those big gray-brown eyes. Weird that it looks like she has red hair – I’m almost positive that although Alyson spent 10+ years as a redhead, she’s a natural brunette, and so’s her husband.
Alyson’s said on her Twitter that Satyana is pronounced like Tatiana but with an S, and she’s also made it pretty clear that Satyana is indeed breastfed.

Willa, my son’s pediatrician said that breastfed babies tend to put on more weight faster, at least early on. After a few months the weight differences even out.

Alyson is a natural red head. More of a brown tone to her hair but i’ve seen younger photo’s and she is a definate red head,just not as flame haired as she has been over the years.
And yes, it is pronounced like Tatiana with an S, CBB even posted that Alyson herself said that.

OMG, I love them! What an adorable duo. Aly looks so happy and natural and little Satyana is just too sweet! What a precious little face
I definitely LOOOOVE the way Alyson’s acting with the paparazzi. Not exposing her baby girl too much – I mean having all the moments of her life captured for magazines – but also not hiding her from the paparazzi(and the world!) like one little pic of her child taken by paparazzi is the worst thing that could happen!
