Please consider looking into Orbit’s response to Consumer Reports:

while consumer reports is typically a reliable source for information, they are notorious for improperly testing car seats. most car seat “afficionados” tend to disagree with CR findsings in these cases.

ladies, is there a place you suggest to go instead for car seat safety information? i’d love a link to another site, thanks! and sarah, CBB does post the response.

making your own babyfood is a lot easier than i had thought it would be, and kind of fun! i really recommend it. however, the article didn’t specify what “older” kids means. some of those foods are not ok for the first year (is it 2 years for honey? i forget). also, our pediatrician says kids under 1 year should stay away from tomatoes, strawberries, and wheat too.

We added it after she provided the link. Thanks Sarah!

Making baby food really is easy. Here in London, where I live, most mums swear by a series of babyfood cookbooks by Anabelle Karmel. If you don’t want to buy a cookbook, just start by mashing banana, papaya or avocado with a fork or in a blender.
