True Blood stars Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin step out into the sun while shopping on Saturday with his daughter Lilac, 7, in Santa Monica, Calif.
The newly engaged actors (check out Anna’s ring here) had a busy weekend with Lilac — on Sunday, they took a trapeze training class!
Stephen, 39, is also dad to son Billy, 9.
True Blood airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on HBO.
Its weird seeing him…not all pasty and pale. Cute looking family tho!

Love last nights episode. It was hilarious and fabulous. I love seeing them out and about. I think they are adorable together. His daughter is so cute.

A lot of people seem to be like “OMG what happens if they break up on the show?” Its …. A SHOW! Plain and simple. There’s a huge line between reality and the show. I think Anna and Stephen can differentiate between those.
Lilac is very pretty. They all look so happy, like one, big, happy family all holding hands. Too cute!

You are one of those people I am referring to with my above post. Just because a couple breaks up on the show does not mean it happens in real life. Anna and Stephen are very much in love. They are not Bill and Sookie when the director yells ‘Cut’. They are Anna and Stephen and know how to differentiate between that. The chemistry will still remain strong regardless of the future of their characters on the show.
Real life is not the same as fantasy.

I absolutely LOVE that Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are engaged!! I have just recently finished watching Season 1 of “True Blood” on Netflix. They definitely remind me of Bogey and Bacall’s chemistry onscreen. Stephen looks awesome in his natural blond hair. They look really happy together. I wish them success, love and happiness in their marriage.

For those who watch the show, I think the storyline is already heading toward a breakup. I don’t know for sure, but it seems kinda apparent to me I heard the book goes that way but sometimes tv adaptions change. I’m not really for it as I love sookie and bill, and Eric looks a lot like my husband so itd be weird watching alex and anna paquin makeout.

I was wondering when someone from True Blood was going to make it on this site !
So I know he is not a baby, but you should post some of the hotness that is Alexander Skarsgard, or his siblings. He is technically a celebrity “baby” because of his dad Stellan Skarsgard.
And Mandy… you totally misread Whitney’s post. I read the books also so I know exactly what Whitney is talking about.
IMO though, it seems more awkward after finding out that Anna and Stephen are dating in realy life..I feel like a creeper in some of their scenes.
Also, I (and a lot of other people) have noticed in many many interviews and things that Anna seems to be uncomfortable with Alexander and pinned to Stephen. This is why people are worried that their personal relationship will ruin the show. And after the dream sequence she had with Eric, to lots of us, it felt awkward, especially the kissing. I really really hope they can be more comfortable around each other because I am not going to give away spoilers.
I am not sure though if Alan Ball is going to follow the books, because he has changed a lot so far (Bill staking Longshadow, Lafayette etc). It seems that he is travelling towards the direction of the books, just at a different pace and with some changes.

I love the name Lilac! We almost named our daughter that. As someone else posted above, Anna really does look like she can pass for Lilac’s bio mom.

For those who ‘worry’ that their relationship will affect the show, they are ACTORS doing a job. Their real life relationship is just that, real life. Alexander Skarsgaard is not the only actor who ever did a nude scene with someone elses fiance and he’s nothing special to begin with.
The books are not True Blood. Alan Ball bought the rights to the stories and will write them the way he wants to write them. So just because something happens in the books doesn’t automatically mean it will happen on the show. Why would we want to know exactly what was going to happen every week? How about a little suspense?
Stephen and Anna are a gorgeous couple and I wish them the best. His daughter looks just like him and I have seen pictures of his son who looks just like him as well and the two have different mothers. Stephen and Anna will make beautiful children together.
