Jumbo Blocks: Just Like My Son's Favorite Blocks… but HUGE!

My 4-year-old son Finn has become a builder, and when I presented him with Jumbo Blocks, he couldn’t get the box open fast enough. Soon we had a veritable fortress in our living room, complete with two clear, plastic windows!

Jumbo Blocks — as seen on TV! — come in bright colors and three sets that sell for $90 to $320. The big blocks are easy for tiny hands to put together and take apart, and they’re sure not a choking hazard! They are made in the USA and the smallest set contains 54 blocks ($90) and is big enough to make houses for stuffed animals or garages for toy cars. The website even includes instructions on how to build the castle shown above.

They’re not inexpensive but they’re super-durable and will last and last. They’re easy to clean, fit easily back into their box and can be played with outdoors with no problem. We’re definitely fans of Jumbo Blocks for rainy days!

These look awesome, but the thought of picking them up and storing them gives me nightmares.

I agree! You’d need a huge playroom in order to have the room for them.

Oh my goodness! Thank you for this post! My daughter has these at daycare and they are her favorite toy. I’ve wanted to get some for her. But…. Yeah, where to store them? We have a small place.

We purchased the Standard set, and I talked to customer service via email about storage. They suggested I simply build an L shaped structure and turn it around in the corner of a room. It only takes up 4 inches of floor space, and we can turn it around for an instant fort!
Other suggestions they had at Jumboblocks.com are to build a flat wall and slide it under the bed, or build a rectangle to use a toy bin for all the other toys in his room.
