Now that’s one way to beat the summer heat! Liev Schreiber and his 2-year-old son Alexander ‘Sasha’ Pete enjoy a good soak at Washington Square Park on a steamy Monday in the Big Apple.
Notice the new artwork on Liev’s forearm? The actor has had “Kai” inked on his left arm, and “Sasha” on the right!
Also with the pair? Mom Naomi Watts and baby brother Samuel Kai, 8 months (not pictured), who stayed out of the spray!
He is a carbon copy of her. So adorable!!!!

Sasha is so cute. He looks exactly like Naomi. I wonder if Kai looks like Liev.

Are they officially calling him Kai, I mean, I guess so because of the tattoo LOL but I mean, when they register him in school are they going to put his full name “Samuel Kai” or just Kai? I think I remember in an interview they said they were between calling him “Samuel/Sammy” or by his middle name “Kai”
Maybe Sasha/Sammy became too confusing LOL both “S” names.

well it seems he’s put both their ‘nicknames’ on his forearm, Sasha and Kai. funny that neither one is his kids’ actual birth names lol!

LOL that is a good point hahaha. Maybe the family will just call them Sasha + Kai, but in school it will be Alex + Sam, or Alexander + Samuel. Hope it doesn’t confuse them (the kids).

@Mia : Haha, don’t worry, speaking from personal experience I believe the kids won’t be confused. All my family members call me by my Chinese name but my friends call me by my Christina name.
The Schreiber-Watts clan is one of my favourite celeb families! Seeing pictures of this sweet family always brings smile to my face

I was in Washington Square Park at that fountain just two days before this photo was taken – if only I’d stayed in NYC a couple of extra days, lol. I was envious of the kids playing in the fountain, I so wanted to jump in! New York was stinking hot, but fantastic. These two looked like they fully enjoyed themselves

I babysat a boy who was called Sasha by his parents and now as a college student he is Alex his brother was Nicky now he goes by Nick.

Mia, I can tell you from experience: it wont be confusing for Sasha and Kai. Besides they might be called something totally different in school, my class mate Martin was called Zed from middle school and onwards, only reason being that his older brother resembled the older brother of a movie character, so people started calling him like the movie caracter! He was never confused, his mom was the first couple of times someone called and asked for Zed thoug!
