barley and birch: Organic Clothes for Your Kids and Your Conscience

08/14/2009 at 01:00 PM ET

Cute would be an understatement. The new line of organic clothing from barley & birch is downright beautiful.

When my kids head out in their super-soft barley & birch t-shirts ($30) and tanks ($28), they turn heads. I’d like to think it’s because I have adorable kids, but really it’s the amazing prints on their shirts. My son smiles every time he puts on his Octi shirt. And my daughter asks for her Panda shirt by name almost daily – not always an easy feat for a 16-month-old!

And every single facet of the line — from production to sales and everything in between — is carbon neutral. Plus barley & birch donates at least 10% of profits to charity. How’s that for impressive? All this means that not only will your kids look great, but you’ll feel great, too.

I was curious if you ever considered changing the layout of your site? Its very well written; I love what you’ve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. You’ve got an awful lot of text for only having one or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
