Oksana Grigorieva Says Son is 'Looking Forward' to Big Brotherhood

In a new interview with CNN, Oksana Grigorieva reveals that the baby she expects in late fall with boyfriend Mel Gibson will be a delivery surprise. “I’m already buying things in gender-neutral colors,” the 39-year-old songstress shares. “It’s very cute.”

Equally excited is Oksana’s 12-year-old son Alexander, from a previous relationship with actor Timothy Dalton. Although the age difference between her children will be sizable, it presents its fair share of benefits as well. Notes Oksana,

“He’s like a little man, protecting me. He’s looking forward to it very much.”

Totally agree with Kai. I saw a picture of her from the mid 90s when she was with Timothy Dalton and she was drop dead gorgeous. Absolutely stunning, and you could tell naturally so. It’s such a shame that she didn’t just let nature take its course, as I can’t imagine she wouldn’t have aged gracefully.

It is a sketchy situation, but when did Mel Gibson preach against premarital sex? And weren’t he and his wife separated for a long time? Even Catholics aren’t a monolithic group (and Mel Gibson isn’t even mainstream Catholic). For many Christians their religion is more about following Jesus’ teachings and less about sexual ethics (as it should be, IMO). I obviously don’t know anyone involved in this situation and don’t really care, but just thought I’d throw that out there.

There are some uber-religious folks that do the exact opposite of what they preach. But what’s there to “love” about it? It is not proof that all religious people are hypocrites. It is only proof that the person in question is. But yeah, Mel always came off (to me at least) as a man with very extreme religious vies.

I think the age difference will be a big plus for her. The difference in age between my oldest and youngest is 11 years, which I just love. He’s so much help with the baby, doesn’t feel any jealousy, and I think it’s much easier than having 2 little ones at the same time. Congrats to them on the baby!

When someone uses their religion as a clout in interactions with other people, it’s legitimate schadenfreude when they do a 180 on those convictions for their personal benefit. Mel appears to be a good example of this. I’m with Anna.

I love Mel, sorry if that ruffles some feathers. I think it’s sad when a marriage ends and there are all these kids left in a broken home but sometimes spliting up is a better than your kids living in an unhappy home with no love. Religion aside, that’s the bottom line isn’t it?

I know that this relationship is some sort of gossip lovers dream situation, but do we really need to bash this couple anytime they or their baby is mentioned. Yes, a lot of people don’t like Mel. Heard you all the first time. If you don’t like him so much why read posts about his family?

Personally I think this baby will be a blessing, Oksana sounds excited and at 12 I would have loved a little baby around.

Amber- They may very well be excited, though, especially the youngest ones (I’m guessing Mel’s older, grown children might be having some issues with the fact that their dad is expecting another baby, especially so soon after his wife filed for divorce).

If Mel had been the making these comments, then I’d definently find it a little strange that nothing was mentioned about the other kids and how they feel. However, Oksana is the one who made these statements, and none of us has any idea what her relationship with Mel’s kids is like.
