Ioan Gruffudd and Alice Evans Pucker Up

Ramey

Stopping for a smooch, actors Ioan Gruffudd and wife Alice Evans were spotted out shopping in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Sunday.

The couple expect their first child next month, and although they know the sex, Ioan says only friends and family are privy to the information! They do have names ready, however.

“We have a handful,” the Fantastic Four star admits. “But I think we are going to wait until the baby arrives. I’m sure we have no idea what we are heading into. But we both love each other so much and really hope that we will create an environment of love and happiness.”

Who are these two? I have never heard of either one of them!

- Tiffany on

He played in the Fantastic Four movies.

- Mimi on

He played in “The Forsyte Saga” and “Horatio Hornblower”. He’s a great British actor.

They were both in 102 Dalmatians. Congrats to them!

I think she’s due at the beginning of Sept. She looks like she could have the baby now!

It is a girl! ;-)

That’s wonderful! I just love them as a couple. I hope they choose a fabulous Welsh name, like Rhys, Bryn, Geraint for a boy or Seren, Nia, Cerys for a girl :)

- Ella on

I’m voting for girl too. Alice Evans appeared on Lost last season.

- Emma on

loved him as Horatio. Wonderful actor.

- Ann de Lourdes on

How do you pronounce his name? I like his name. I also hope that they chose a Welsh/Celtic name. Such as Nora, Aoife, Carys for a girl. Or Rhys, Rohan, or Seamus.

I can see them using a Welsh name for the baby, will be great to have more Welsh names in Celeb land. :) :)

I like the way Catherine Zeta Jones remembered being Welsh by naming her children Dylan & Carys.

- Adele (UK) on

You pronounce his name Yoan Gruf-uth. Brilliant Welsh name!!

I can see Ioan being a father of a little girl.
I can see Alice being the mother of a little boy or girl, but more leaning more towards a boy – as in I can see her having both.

As I look at Ioan I get the feeling that it is a girl, but with Alice mixed feelings.
