Sarah Jane Morris, Ned Brower Expecting First Child

Actress Sarah Jane Morris and husband Ned Brower, drummer for the band Rooney, are expecting their first child early next year, they tell PEOPLE exclusively.

Sarah Jane, 32, will be shooting an episode of CBS’s The Ghost Whisperer next week. And while there’s been speculation whether her character will return this season to ABC’s Brothers & Sisters, there’s been no official word yet. The father-to-be is in the studio working on Rooney’s next album.

The couple, who met while attending Southern Methodist University in Dallas and wed in 2005, live in Los Angeles.
