Marcia Cross and Twins: Slidin' Smiles!

Whee! Marcia Cross and Savannah take the plunge Sunday afternoon at a Santa Monica, Calif. playground.

Playing with her twin 2-year-olds, Marcia tackled the slide with Savannah before moving on to kick a ball around with Eden.

The trio were joined by Tom Mahoney (not pictured), who looked quite healthy as he continues to recover from cancer treatment.

I love the way Marcia doesn’t dress the twins in the same clothing. That really annoys me as in my opinion, parents that dress their twins the same, don’t treat them as individuals.

Though I don’t mind if say 2 twin girls wear the same dress, but different colors – one pink and one lilac.

Helen, my sister and I (we’re not twins) used to wear identical outfits a lot. This was because whenever I got an outfit, she always wanted the same one.

I don’t really see the big deal with sisters/twins wearing the same outfits. JUST clothes. Clothes don’t define their personalities.

Lilly I think the difference is with twins (and mostly identical twins) sometimes parents do it ‘for fun’ as in they look the same/they’re sisters let’s dress them the same. I don’t think it’s a big deal because I find it cute myself (future bad parent?) but I undrstand that especially with twins it’s like considering you have twice the exact same kid. It’s different when the children want to dress the same like you and your sister.

I used to watch triplets when I was younger and the parents would dress them the same in crowded places because it was much easier to spot them all when they were dressed all the same!

i love that 9 times out of 10 you see her little girls with hats on! considering their super fair skin, that is awesome! my little girl is fair skinned also, and tho only 5 months old, always has a sunhat on when outside.

i also like that she doesn’t dress her girls the same. i would be the same way with twins. BUT when their babies, they’d probably dress alike. not the exact same, but like a pp said, different colors.

Wow…Marcia is looking extremely thing. Looking at her Chest while on the slide…you can see the bones. Too skinny.

Considering the fact that the past few months may have been a little stressful for Marcia’s family, I don’t think it’s fair to comment on her appearance. To each his own. Nice to see the pictures of the family out and about.

Marcia talks about sun protection all the time in public. I think she does something for the American Cancer Society with skin cancer. So that being said I would hope she followed what she preached, which she does. Both with herself and the girls.
The little girls are also getting so big, seems like only yesterday they were born.

Marcia says she has to stay thin for the cameras. I think she looks thin but imagine her in person. She is still absolutely beautiful.

To me Marcia looks absolutely beautiful. Yes she is thin but she’s been through a lot lately with her husband having cancer but she does not look horrifically thin like some celebrities. To me Marcia looks to have a pretty good figure plus she’s tall which makes her look thinner.

Eden and Savannah have grown up so fast. They are very cute little kids. Eden looks so thoughtful

Eden and Savannah look completely different even as newborns! But both are gorgeous. I think Savannah looks just like Marcia while Eden is more of a mix of the two IMO.

I think they are such beautiful girls! Marcia seems like such an awesome Mom.
My sister and I are 19 months apart and were always dressed alike for events or pictures. We actually really liked it but I do hate when twins are dressed alike only because I like to be able to tell them apart if they are identical or look very similar. Everyone mixed my sister and I up and I hated it! That is definitely a down fall of dressing twins or even similar looking siblings alike but I think its usually all in good fun and I don’t think any parent would want their twins to not have their own individual personality. I think twins will always be different with the way they talk or think so if they like dressing alike or a parent likes it, whats the big deal? I just think it is always wise to give them something obvious for people to tell them apart so they feel that people know who they are.
