Ashlee Simpson-Wentz Talks About Her Traveling Trio

Jet-setting the globe is without a doubt considered a luxury many cannot afford. However, that same opportunity — especially when adding a baby to the mix — comes at price that new mama Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is not willing to accept. Luckily, her desire to settle down with husband Pete Wentz and their 8-month-old son Bronx Mowgli coincided with her being cast as Violet on the upcoming season of Melrose Place. “It’s been good so far,” she notes.
“For me, I wanted to do something that’s a bit more stable, and it’s been that, which has been perfect.”
That said, the trio’s traveling plans have not been completely erased by her new schedule; Ashlee has found a happy medium between the two. “We get to travel,” she says. “We’ve been to Paris, Japan, everywhere with my son.” As for baby Bronx, the experienced globetrotter is taking it all in stride!
“He’s so happy and healthy. I’m very fortunate he’s on a good schedule.”
The season premiere of Melrose Place airs on Tuesday, September 8th at 9 p.m.
