Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic

Model Camila Alves pauses to pose upon her arrival at at the Express Celebrates TXT L8TER Denim Campaign Launch Party at Nobu in Los Angeles on Thursday.

So about how many weeks would that make her? Like 19 weeks or so, cuz I’m due in february and I’m 12 weeks!

- dlock on

wow she doesn’t even look pregnant! She’s a beautiful woman.

- whitney on

she looks pretty, good for them :)

- Tina on

when you show depends on how the baby is laying in the womb amongst other thinks and yeah the timing looks about right to be close to four and half months as we assume Camilla is at this point but in succesive pregnancies you usually get bigger earlier but that dress does look great on her and accentuate her pregnancy

- Courtney on

I think it’s the style of the dress that hides her pregnancy. It really doesn’t look like a maternity dress at all. She looks great.

- olin on

She is probably about 4 months pregnant, and maybe its the lightning but her face looks very different. I love the dress!

- Mia on

Her hips look huge to me in this pic and dress.

- Lisa on

4 months would be 17 weeks and as I’ve said on other threads when you show also depends on your height but she looks fab either way

- Courtney on

She looks fantastic, very beautiful girl. But I always get a chuckle when Camila is referred to as a “model” – she’s done some swimsuit shots, and some limited catalog work, but I wouldn’t call her a working model. I guess everyone is a model is they are pretty.

- martina on

Great dress, she looks hot!

- 12 Weeks Pregnant on

She looks fantastic! It seemed like she started showing immediately with Levi, but not so much this time around.

- Michelle on

Martina yes EVERYONE is model nowadays. Heck I see girls taking picture of themselves with their phones and now their models too lol. I thin she looks like she’s in great shape, but personally I have never cared for her face. I don’t think she’s very pretty. But their happy and that’s all that matter :)

- Cynthia on

Camila is definitely more legit then most of the girls that claim to be models. She’s done some paid modeling work, mostly in print. She’s just not an “acclaimed international model” as it’s frequently claimed. But yeah, everyone is a model these days.

- martina on

Doesn’t she work for Victoria’s Secret? How come people are saying she’s not a model?

- LisaR on

Model or no, I don’t think this is a flattering photo. I guess I’m in the minority, but I think this dress is rather unflattering.

- crimpe on

Camila looks terrific! She is very beautiful just like her family.

- aroundtheywaygirl on

Lisa, I am not aware of this Camila Alves working for Victoria Secret, I could be mistaken of course. But there is a different Camila Alves, who is in fact a very successful Brazilian model. The other Camila Alves has an impressive modeling resume. It’s possible that people that wrote this Camila’s bio confused the two.

- martina on

men SHE LOOKS SO DAMN GOOD!

- Mariel on

Not sure why Camila’s credentials as a model are being questioned her. Prior to giving birth to Levi, Camila was definitely a professional model, mostly in print, who was represented by Ace Models and Premiere Model Management. She made a living as a professional model, which is quite different from someone at home, snapping shots of themselves.

Shes stunning.
By the last line “baby will join big brother at home” – does that mean she is planning a homebirth? Was Levi born at home? Anyone know?

- Koala on

Agree lizzielui. My mom worked steady as a model for 10 years and you’d never know her name. Did lots of print work, catalog work, fit modeling, runway shows for big and little designers. There are lots of working models out here who are not the Naomi’s and Giselle’s of the world. Modeling doesn’t mean your face is in the press every 5 minutes for doing stupid stuff like throwing phones or doing lines of coke.

- aroundtheywaygirl on

Koala- Most likely not. Levi was born via C-section, so even if Camilla is allowed to try for a VBAC, her doctors will probably strongly recommend that she give birth in the hospital.

Anyway, “baby-on-the-way will join the couple’s first child at home”, is something CBB says a lot to refer to the fact that the baby has an older sibling at home. :)

aroundthewaygirl- I know what you mean about Naomi. She obviously has some serious anger issues and needs to work on them, and it doesn’t sound like she does a whole lot of modeling these days. However, Giselle is indeed a professional model. Her twin sister (if I’m remembering correctly) is even her manager. :)

Giselle HAS been in the media a lot lately, but I think that’s mostly because of her pregnancy. :)
