Simon Gregson Welcomes Son Harry

Phillip Massey/FilmMagic

Coronation Street star Simon Gregson, 34, has welcomed his second son, and it appears as though baby boy was in a hurry to join the UK soap’s famed baby boom! Harry Gregson was born two months prematurely on Sunday, July 12th.

Although his early arrival was no doubt a surprise, his parents were prepared on at least one front — a name for their newest addition! “Harry is my grandad’s name,” Simon’s fiancée Emma Gleave explained previously. “We kind of knew it was going to be a boy, and when they told us at the hospital we weren’t shocked.”

Harry joins big brother Alfie, 23 months, at home.

Bryan Dattilo Offers Advice to Parents of Children With Autism

Jen Lowery/Startraks

Bryan Dattilo‘s world revolves around his son Gabriel, so when the 9 ½-year-old was diagnosed with moderate autism as a toddler, that world was turned upside down. Bryan and his ex-wife Jessica Denay — founder of the Hot Moms Club — “were told right off the bat that he wouldn’t be able to do certain things, like have a real job, have a wife, be main-streamed,” Bryan explains. “There was a question of whether he could stay in a normal school.”

After the diagnosis, Bryan says he was left feeling angry “when the lady told us, and put all these labels on him and kind of limited him.” He admits he also felt “responsible” that his son wouldn’t “have the kind of life that he would enjoy.”

Living in a world of the “unknown,” Bryan set out to work closely with Gabe. “I would have to come up with games to break him of his repetitive behavior,” he explains, “because a lot of autistic children have repetitive behavior, whether it’s repeat[ing] something quite a bit or a physical gesture that they have to do to make themselves comfortable.”

There were hard times, especially when Gabe was younger and he was unable to make eye contact or express himself. “You found yourself giving and giving and you weren’t really getting much back compared to the normal way a child could share affection and show appreciation,” Bryan notes. After his experiences, the 37-year-old actor “totally feel[s]” for parents dealing with an autism diagnosis, and offers them some advice:

“Realize that you never know what the future is going to hold, so the more you work with a child, it might not seem like you’re getting a lot back at the time, but five or six years down the road, when your child is main-streamed and totally accepted as ‘normal,’ then that’s the rewarding part. As long as you catch it early and don’t give up, there is hope.”

Kendra Wilkinson Feels First Kicks, Predicts Baby is a Boy

Craig Barritt/Photosmith

At just over four months pregnant, Kendra Wilkinson is celebrating a very big milestone — baby’s first kick!

“It was so crazy,” she tells Us Weekly. “I was just sitting there and then all of a sudden, ‘Bam!’ I was like, ‘That wasn’t gas!’”

Although the movements “felt weird,” Kendra says she suspected that what she was feeling was real and a little investigative work proved her instincts were right.

“[Husband] Hank [Baskett] is in Phoenix, and I called him right away and was like, ‘I just felt it kick for the first time,’” she recalls. “I just researched on the Internet, if you can feel it kick this early… and it said I can, so it’s crazy!”

“I got really excited … I was like, ‘Oh my God, something is in there! It’s healthy!”

In two weeks, the couple — married in June — will learn the sex of their baby-on-the-way, and Kendra’s intuition will again be put to the test. “I still think it’s a boy,” she says.

Happily settled into her second trimester, Kendra adds that she is “feeling great,” looking forward to her Lamaze classes and has even been partaking in some traditional pregnancy cuisine. “I’m craving a pickle right now — and I hated pickles before,” she shares.

Fans of her reality show Kendra shouldn’t expect the December delivery to make its way onto the small screen, however. Kendra, 24, adds,

“That will be all private. I want to be able to spend my quality time with what’s been growing inside of me for nine months!”

Meet Luciana Bella Bonfiglio!

Courtesy Lisa Rose/Life & Style for use on CBB

It’s baby Luci! Carnie Wilson introduces 4 ½-week-old Luciana Bella in the latest issue of Life & Style, on newsstands this week. Overdue by almost two weeks, Carnie underwent a c-section to deliver her second daughter on June 12th.

The arrival of Luci, as Carnie and husband Rob Bonfiglio are calling her, was a welcome conclusion to a pregnancy that had gone downhill in the final 40 days. “The last month was really, really rough,” says Carnie, who developed gestational diabetes in her third trimester. “I couldn’t turn over in bed, and I was in a lot of pain.”

Recovery hasn’t been much easier — Carnie fought off an infection in her womb after the surgery. “The problem is that I want to move too fast too quickly,” she admits. “It takes weeks to heal from a caesarean, and of course after a week I was cooking. I can’t sit around.” Age may be a factor as well. “I think [recovery is harder this time] because I’m 41 versus 36,” the singer notes.
